Responsible for the vendor specifications of all products sourced including tooling and cavitation requirements for new product. Considerations included raw material capabilities, tooling capacity, and vendor experience including industry reputation. Materials included various plastics and metals. Vendor locations include China, Korea, Thailand, Taiwan and Venezuela. Involved in raw material composition and approval including specific NSF approved uses in food service applications. Extensive Excel analysis for cost feasibility at landed and standard. Developed new product lines in conjunction with marketing department and also brought new product to the company for marketing consideration via both existing and new vendor cooperation. Controlled all international logistics via vessel and intermodal in a JIT environment. Monitored and controlled quantities for order placement through analysis of tooling capacities in fulfillment of demand and product forecast. 1999-2001
