Henry for the illegal straw purchase of nine firearms. Henry purchased these firearms and then illegally transferred them to Andrew Thomas. One of these firearms was the Beretta 9mm semi-automatic handgun that Andrew Thomas used to murder Plymouth Township Police Officer Bradley Fox.

On Thursday, September 13, 2012, Plymouth Township Police Officer Bradley Fox was shot and killed by Andrew Thomas as Officer Fox pursued Thomas after he fled from a traffic incident. After shooting Officer Fox, Thomas turned his gun on himself and committed suicide.

Detectives learned that the Beretta 9mm pistol used by Andrew Thomas was purchased on May 30, 2012, and that the firearm was registered to Michael J. Henry. Detectives interviewed Michael J. Henry who told them that he first met Andrew Thomas in April 2012 and that, between April 10th and July 31st, he purchased a total of nine firearms for Andrew Thomas, including the murder weapon. Henry said that Thomas would pay him $500 for each firearm in addition to providing him with the cash for the firearm purchase. The nine firearms consisted of seven pistols and two rifles, and they were purchased at In Site Firearms in Montgomery County and French Creek Outfitters in Chester County. Magisterial District Judge Francis J. Bernhardt will arraign Henry at 1:00 this afternoon at the District Court located at 625 W. Ridge Pike, Conshohocken, PA.
