KUALA PILAH: twenty-two monkeys have been trapped and relocated to the Malacca Zoo after four children were attacked by monkeys. The children were bitten when they reportedly tried to play with and feed four monkeys that appeared at Kampung Kesang. Some 40 monkeys were also reported to have harassed the local lately in search of food. In the latest incident the children were bitten on the hands by the monkeys when they tried to grab the bags of peanuts that the children were holding. Following the incident, Serembans Wildlife and Parks Department sent a team to trap the monkeys. Exercise Read the recipe below and fill in the blanks.

QUICK CHICKEN CURRY Ingredients 750g deboned chicken thighs 3 tablespoon s ghee or oil 1 large onion, halved and thinly sliced 1 teaspoon mashed garlic 1 teaspoons grated ginger 1 cinnamon stick 2 bay leaves 2 cloves 2 dried chillies 1 tablespoon ground coriander 2 teaspoons garam masala teaspoon turmeric powder Pepper Lemon juice (to taste) Method 1. Brown the chicken pieces in ghee or oil, remove and set aside. 2. Fry the onions until golden brown, and garlic, ginger, cinnamon and chillies and fry for two minutes. 3. Add brown spices and pepper 4. Put the chicken into the pan and add water to barely cover. Cover the pan and simmer for about 30 minutes until the chicken is tender. 5. Add lemon juice to taste. 6. Serve with rice
