POLICY
Trans Access Needs Recognises needs and lobbies for them to be respected e.g. gender identity, WCs Ethical Banking renewed with slight amendments, bank tendering process ongoing Cannabis Renewed. No substantial amendments. Freshers Accomodation Lapsed. Will propose resolution next meeting to entrench our commitment to single-room on-campus accommodation for 1st-years. Student Safety on Campus Renewed. Womens Officer working to increase awareness of night-time shuttle bus and improve lighting.

BY-LAWS AND SU FUNCTIONING


Amendments made during summer noted, consequence of last years Democracy Review Education Convention policy-making powers stripped, as no other Convention has them Constituent groups will never count towards the absentees in quorum calculations. Helps keep Council at work. Campaigns Funds can be allocated by Student Council, if Campaign Conventions dont act. Job Shares Passed for Medical Representative, but not for Social Sciences. Concerns on consistency and legitimacy raised.
