Conducted research and completed 30-page research project entitled Re-Imagining the Connection Between Community-Based Organizations and Government that examined the challenges local non-profits face discovering and receiving Federal Government based streams of funding. Analyzed primary documents from private and donated collections held Swarthmore Librarys Peace Collection in order to complete a 25-page primary source research-based paper on Absolutist Conscientious Objectors and their support systems during WWI

Political Research Intern, Local Candidates Committee Conducted research on 32 candidates for 20 different Manhattan political races in order to ensure legitimacy of candidacy and seriousness of contender as well as to confirm information regarding campaign finances and biographical information Customized and submitted questionnaires to candidates and also communicated with campaign managers to manage deadlines Took part in interview process of candidates, along with concerned citizens, which resulted in the completion of The Primary Seasons Voters Guide, its mission to empower voters with the necessary information about their candidates Researched and produced a 10 page report regarding the hot issues in education heading into the election, which resulted in discussion points, to be used in a town hall meeting in November and December 2012
