Responsibilities Org. Initiative : Provides necessary data towards org initiative as decided between the manager and the lead IN ORDER TO contribute positively towards org initiatives Solution Development : Understands Solution requirements and reviews simple code and develops complex code, reviews and develops unit test scripts that meets the standards, conduct reviews for self and peers, conduct unit test and document unit test results IN ORDER TO commence testing of the solution developed Knowledge Management : Review knowledge management activities in the project to help track and improve knowledge management within the project, share learning`s related to the project, seek information and leverage knowledge from other projects IN ORDER TO drive higher efficiency, effectiveness and preserve organization knowledge Client Management : Interface with customer for issue resolution, Build customer confidence in team`s ability to deliver IN ORDER TO support high customer satisfaction Quality Management : Anchors defect prevention activities for medium projects, reviews the DP plan IN ORDER TO ensure quality adherence and to ensure that the project is adhering to the configuration management plan Closure : Reviews performance test analysis report and prepares closure report IN ORDER TO support closure Implementation : Performs go live activities such as production verification IN ORDER TO ensure that the application runs in the production environment without any issues Test execution : Reviews results of test cases executed by the test engineer and AET, Participates in defect triages, participates in test execution of key modules IN ORDER TO identify defects in the application Metrics management : Provides relevant data on metrics for module he/she is part of IN ORDER TO support metrics management Test Scripting : Understands the test cases / scenarios, Designs and develops medium to complex scripts (automation, performance and any other specialized testing), using specialized testing tool(s), Validates the test script, Seeks reviews from lead and conducts peer reviews and updates accordingly IN ORDER TO commence test execution Test Case Preparation : Writes complex functional/non-functional test cases, prepares RTM for the same, provides review feedback for test cases/scripts and RTM prepared by AET/TE, implements mitigation plans identified for risks IN ORDER TO commence test execution for manual testing projects and test scripting for automation/performance testing projects Test Environment Setup : Receives setup instructions on infrastructure, data & software, Plans and completes set up, prepares scripts (SQL etc) to create test data as required and populates test data IN ORDER TO ensure commencement of test execution Test Plan Design : Develops test plan for medium modules, Reviews and provides feedback for simple module test plan(s), consisting of end to end scenarios, types of testing and number of cycles of testing required for the test module, Identifies all the risks and their mitigation plan, Seeks reviews from the lead and updates accordingly IN ORDER TO support test plan design

Project planning & tracking : Prepare a detailed schedule for a work packet by carefully analyzing the effort and dependencies, Participates in client status meetings jointly with team as required, Participates in onsite-offshore interactions as required IN ORDER TO support project tracking and monitoring Test Strategy Definition : Prepares effort estimates for project execution IN ORDER TO support strategy definition of the project Requirements Analysis : Participates in meetings with Onsite Personnel/Clients as the case may be to understand the functional and non-functional requirements for the engagement, Analyses the information learnt and prepares test requirement specifications (if required), IN ORDER TO capture the functional and non-functional requirements in scope of the delivery Transition : Plans for KT sessions, participate in KT sessions, conduct shadow support IN ORDER TO complete transition
