I am very pleased to greet you by means of this CD, recorded with the purpose to facilitate your access to the FEZ Balti. I would like to inform you that due to the favorable geographic location of the Republic of Moldova, the country opportunities to the EU and CIS countries. Thus, starting preferential trade regime with a high degree of liberalization, granted unilaterally by the EU, on one hand, and Moldova is a part of 16 free trade agreements with CIS countries and the Stability Pact for South Eastern Europe, on the other hand. The trade regime of the Autonomous Trade Preferences provides free access to the EU market, on condition that the exports from the Republic of Moldova meet EU standards on origin of goods. It includes a group of over 12,000 units and is consisting of almost all products listed in the Combined Nomenclature of Goods, including the economic relations with the European Union, Moldova is the only CIS country that reached such a level of cooperation with the European Union. Due to the aforesaid, as well as to the tax and customs preferences stipulated by the Moldovan law with regard to the free economic zones, the location of international organizations and transnational corporations within the FEZ Balti with the purpose of doing business on the west and east markets will certainly produce optimal results, beyond your expectations.
