Confirmatioan of Previous Meeting Minutes The minutes is accepted and verified without amendment. Attn: Panel Head and all members

Matters Arising - The Chairperson thanked all the English teachers because the activities during English Week have been carried out successfully.

- Pn Parimala reminded all English teachers to submit the SBOA marks by 23.7.2012 (Monday) Attn: Panel Head and all members

Post Mortem PKSR 1 Results for Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 is attached for our reference. On the whole, Mr Ooi commented that the pupils result in English Language were quite weak. Mr Ooi suggested that teachers should focus on reading comprehension in the classroom. For Year 4 classes, Mr Ooi suggested that teachers should emphasize on information transfer. Pn Parimala suggested that teachers should give more challenging and interesting activities to capture pupils attention. Attn: Panel Head and all members English 2nd Term Activities The Chairperson informed the members the activities for the 2nd term. The activities are RAW, phonics, mural and NILAM. Mural will be carried out by the trainee teachers for the English Corner. Mr Ooi reminded the teachers to make sure pupils read English book during NILAM hours and teachers must guide the pupils in writing the report. Attn: Panel Head and all members

Teaching and Learning Process The Chairperson reminded the teachers to always guides pupils when they were doing activities. Mr Ooi also suggested that the best way in teaching reading is by pointing the words while reading it. Attn: Panel Head and all members

KSSR The Chairperson reminded the teachers to update the transit file. Mr Ooi also reminded the teachers to improvise and integrate skills in teaching and learning process. Attn: Panel Head and all members

Other Matters Pn Parimala congratulates Miss Lim for achieving APC award for this year.

The Chairperson thanked all teachers for their support and cooperation.
