Abstract
The purpose of this study is to remove TN of landfill leachate by the conventional treatment-A2O under the new Standard for Pollution Control on the Landfill Site of Municipal Solid Waste GB16889-2008 . Explore the conventional process for denitrification of landfill leachate treatment, and the best craft and working conditions. Through long-term experiment to prove the conventional technology of denitrification of landfill leachate treatment is entirely feasible, when the nitrification liquid reflux ratio of 900%, plus the case of carbon removal may be achieved good results. Figure 1-1 is the treatment plant diagram. Landfill leachate flow the UASB reactor(high 3.2m and inner diameter 100mm ) to remove the most of COD, then overflow into the central water tank. After that the landfill leachate into the anoxic SBR reactor (high 1.0m and inner diameter 150mm). The Water from anoxic reactor pump into the aerobic SBR reactor to remove the remaining COD and ammonia nitrogen. As part of the aerobic effluent discharge, the remaining part back to the central water tank by the reflux ratio of denitrification. The test water was from the Shenyang Laohuchong leachate has landfill strong leachate, leachate and composition as shown in Table 1-1, garbage biodegradability, because of this landfill leachate used in the experiment as a middle-aged landfill leachate, leachate nitrate and sub-N and organic nitrogen content is almost negligible small, so the total nitrogen concentration in leachate is similar to 200%, to mix with anaerobic effluent in the anoxic reactor for

INTRODUCTION

Landfill leachate treatment has long been a hot and difficult [1-6]. In the past, people focused on the study of landfill leachate COD and ammonia nitrogen removal, In the past, people focused removal of COD and ammonia nitrogen in landfill leachate. With the implementation of a new Standard for Pollution Control on the Landfill Site of Municipal Solid Waste GB16889-2008 on July 2008, the removal of TN in landfill leachate as the third difficulties placed in front of people. The purpose of this study is to remove TN

anoxic reactor influent C / N down to 1 or so, far lower than the denitrification of the appropriate C / N. From this, total nitrogen concentration in leachate nitrification excessive and anti-suppression system is the lack of carbon source on the denitrification of landfill leachate effect of two main factors. Therefore, we solve the problem in two ways, first through the pre-stripping of the pre-treatment process such as denitrification, reducing the amount of total nitrogen in water. Experiment to prove, after stripping to remove leachate, after an average of 80% of the ammonia, so that the amount of influent ammonia-nitrogen fell to 400 ~ 800mg / L. On the other hand, to abandon the unilateral pursuit of UASB reactor the high COD removal rate, while ensuring the entire system under the premise of the COD removal efficiency and improve the volume load of UASB reactor for the anoxic denitrification to provide more carbon source. Figure 2-2 for the adoption of the above two measures, total nitrogen removal system for a certain upgrade, TN removal rates were 51% ~58% or so. However, as water in the total nitrogen content of urban sewage is still much higher compared with reference to conventional

TREATMENT EFFECT OF NITROGEN Denitrification of the equation as follows:

Denitrification is generally believed that the appropriate C / N of about 5 [8], landfill leachate, the average C / N of about 5 to 10, from the landfill leachate in theory should have a good denitrification performance.

However, as shown in Figure 2-1, beginning of the trial, when the reflux ratio of
200%, the system of total nitrogen removal rate was only 28% ~ 34%, denitrification results far from ideal. The effluent of each reactor were measured indicators and found that landfill leachate treatment by the UASB reactor, COD value from 8000 ~ 20000mg / L decreased to 1500 ~ 2500mg / L, while the total nitrogen in the leachate mainly by ammonia composition. Anaerobic treatment not only can not remove the

sewage treatment set 200% of the nitrification liquid reflux ratio is obviously not satisfied therequirements of dealing with emissions, it should further enhance the reflux ratio. Although it can increase reflux ratio denitrification process to ensure water quality and quantity of water stability, reduced water quality due to fluctuations in leachate treatment systems

the best reflux ratio. IV. CONCLUSION

The experiment proved that the adoption A2O conventional treatment of landfill leachate treatment system, in the case of external carbon source, there is a good nitrogen removal. Specific conclusions were as follows: 1. A2O conventional technology, in the case of external carbon source, there is a good nitrogen removal. Amount of effluent total nitrogen guarantee 40mg / L below. 2. Large nitrification liquid reflux ratio is conducive to denitrification of landfill leachate is recommended reflux ratio of 900% 3. The appropriate nitrogen pre-treatment, to reduce the amount of influent total nitrogen can significantly reduce the burden of conventional nitrogen removal process. 4. An appropriate increase in anaerobic reactor load, the pursuit of the COD removal efficiency of the whole system, rather than a single reactor COD removal efficiency, can provide substantial denitrification carbon source available. impacts, but a large number of nitrification liquid returning to dilute anoxic reactor influent COD concentration, which was originally denitrification on the carbon is more scarce enough. The purpose of the trial from the conventional process is to explore whether it can effectively deal with landfill leachate nitrogen, we have chosen along with methanol as the carbon source denitrification to study the conventional treatment systems are capable of nitrogen in landfill leachate has a good removed. Figure 2-3 vote added in the case of external carbon source, different nitrogen reflux ratio effect on the system. As shown, with the reflux ratio increases, the system gradually reduced the amount of total nitrogen in water. When the reflux ratio of 900% when the average volume of effluent total nitrogen decreased to 37.65mg / L. Since then, with the reflux ratio increases, the system is still to reduce the amount of total nitrogen in water, but tends to fall flat. From an economic and practical engineering considerations, choose reflux ratio of 900% of the denitrification of landfill leachate
