Three product variants are available: 4E1 Balanced 120 ohm or Unbalanced 75 ohm 8E1 Balanced 120 ohm or Unbalanced 75 ohm 16E1 Balanced 120 ohm or Unbalanced 75 ohm 7MHz channel occupancy for 4E1, 8E1 and 16E1 using QPSK, 16QAM and 32QAM respectively. 14 MHz channel occupancy for both 8E1 and 16E1 using QPSK and 16QAM respectively Automatic Gain Control (AGC) function to compensate IF cable lengths. Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and Forward Error Correction (FEC) technology to improve transmitting quality. Local management via CIT to facilitate commissioning. Built-in testing functions to facilitate commissioning and troubleshooting. Wide operating range on power supply. Compact and light weight for easy installation and reliable performance. Optional EOW via external vEOW unit. Tool-free ODU installation. Cold Start (-55O C) wide temperature range available as an option.

Product description: The Hiperion EC Outdoor series Digital Microwave Radio Link Systems allow transmission links to be established rapidly and easily to meet a variety of transmission needs, delivering cost savings and enabling rapid network rollout. The Hiperion EC Outdoor series solution comprises of antennas and outdoor units. The Hiperion EC Outdoor series PDH system is a low cost, high performance PDH transmission solution designed to seamlessly incorporate radio links into a wide range of infrastructure, operating across a variety of frequencies from 6 GHz to 38 GHz and meeting carrier-grade standards for reliability, quality and environmental compliance whilst delivering cost savings and rapid network rollout. The ODU has programmable channel and power including comprehensive monitoring which is achieved with the integrated Monitoring & Control Unit (MCU).

The Outdoor Baseband Unit performs all base band signal processing, multiplex/demultiplex and modulation/demodulation functions, providing a tributary interface. The Hiperion EC Outdoor series PDH system forms a cost effective, point-to-point microwave radio system.
