Guidelinesforthecompetition AssociationofFellows,Scholars,Trainees,andResearchersinIRRI(AFSTRI),ispleasedto announceaphotocompetitionopentoallAFSTRImembersandallIRRIemployees. Thefollowingaretherulesandguidelines:

1) Acompetitorcansubmitamaximumofthree(3)photos.[Oneforeachtheme].Thephotographs mustbearecentone,snappedintheyear2012only,notpublishedelsewhereandtakenbythe entrant. 2) Thethemesforthecompetitionare: A. NatureinIRRI/LosBanos; B. ResearchEnvironmentinIRRI, C. DailylifeinIRRI 3) EntriesmustbesubmittedtoDr.Kh.A.Mottaleb;PostdocAgriculturalEconomist;SocialSciences Division(SSD),inprintfollowingthesespecifications: eithercoloredorblackandwhite; size11R=[11X14inches=279 356 mm = 3300 4200 px eitherportraitorlandscape.

4) Clearlymentionthetheme,name,contactaddress/emailofphotographer,andcountryonthe reversesideofthephoto,usestickerifnecessary.Mentionthesamedetailsintheecopiestoo. 5) Photoseditedwithsoftwaresarenotallowed.Nothingshouldbeaddedtoanimage.Only minimalcroppingisacceptable. 6) Allentriesmustbesubmittedonorbefore5:00PMofNov02,2012forprejudgment.
