All week we have been reading the story The Three Billy Goats Gruff. Today, we are going to retell the story. We retell stories using the words first, second, next, then, after, last/finally. Its important to retell a story because it helps us organize our thoughts. Sometimes, when we retell a story, we have our own schema about the story and it helps us make connections to other texts.
