How to install Creo Parametric To be able to install Creo Parametric you need to have the installation media ready at hands. To make sure you use the latest version of the program go to the PTC website and check for the latest download. Download Creo Parametric here! Step 1 - Unzip the downloaded media When you have downloaded the media, unzip it to a folder destianation where you know how to find it again.

Step 2 - Start the installation Start the installation from the setupfile located inside the unzipped folder

Step 3 - Startup screen If you need to order a license file from PTC, you can see your active PTC host id down in the left corner. Otherwise press next.

Step 4 - Choose installation program If you havent installed a license server on your machine and dont have a license server on your network you need to order a license file and then install PTC License server. Otherwise Install Creo Parametric

Step 5 - Set installation path Create your installation folder. Choose which add-on tools you want to install. Be advised when installing the add-on tools, many of them require a license.

Step 6 - Choose license server The license server listed under FLEXnet License servers should pop up automatically, otherwise press add and connect to the license server manually.

Step 7 - Set start-up directory Choose a local folder which you want to use as startup folder

Install add-ons and choose if you want to configure startup commands

Install Creo Thumbnail Viewer and Elements/View Express (recommended) Mark additional license configuration if you are using more then a basic license for Creo/Elements pro to configure start-up commands
