Financial closure yet to be achieved. Work for construction of Head Race Tunnel is awarded to M/s Coastal Projects Pvt. Ltd. on 22.11.2007. Dam & Intake work has been awarded on 01.02.08. E&M work under process of award. Dam & Intake works: Excavation of Adit to Intake Chamber is in progress. Excavation of road diversion tunnel has been completed. HRT: Adit-1 excavation completed & Adit-II excavation completed and HRT excavation started. (240 m/6488 m). Construction Power and infrastructure works such as roads are in progress. Power House: Civil works awarded on 23.05.2008. E&M Works: LOI placed on 28.08.09 to M/S ANDRITZ & Balance of Plant (E&M) has been issued on 14.08.2009.
