Built-in serviceability In the full-scale 3D model it was discovered that it was difficult and time-consuming to exchange instrumentation on the power turbine. Solution: The Power turbine was redesigned utilizing the 3D model and the instrumentation exchange was verified in the 3D model. This is an example of how uptime is increased using new design tools.
