training and a downward trend seen in students who pursue the field of
generalists in family medicine during the late stages of medical training. In
Japan where medical care breakdown and aging population is progressing,
attention is drawn toward the issue that number of physicians specializing in
community medicine is not on the rise.

.This,however, is a premature and still developing program and
hence still with many defects. This undertaking is conducted with high
expectations that many feedback will be obtained from the readership which
will lead to improvement and serve as a kind of reference to those working in
the community grappling with similar diculties in residents' education.
