Teaching English For Young Learners. Introduction.

n the implementation of the National Preschool Curriculum, administration space is a matter that is important in carrying out teaching and learning in the classroom. In the provision aktiviti, teachers need mengambilkira space and learning center specifically to provide aktiviti collection and class. In running aktiviti, students need adequate and appropriate space to move freely and interact with the material provided. Space provided complete necessary and conducive to stimulate student learning. The preschool building itself is an important factor in determining the learning possibilities within the school. A good deal of thought should be given in palnning it, for it extends or limits the experiences children have there. What should we look for in a building to be used as a school or a centre for young children? Relation of rooms to each other. The entrance should be spacious enough to accommodate parents and children as they come and go. It should look attractive, and it should lead directly into the play areas. Outside doors should have child-proof latches. Space for individual lockers for the children should be near the entrance area. This arrangement permits a more flexible program and easier supervision of the group. Beauty. In addition to being safe and functional, a school should be an attractive place where attention is given to colour and pleasing lines and shapes a graceful arrangement of flowers in a bowl, a picture on the wall, an interesting mobile. Children respond to beauty in their surroundings. Many schools must use space in existing buildings that do not have all of these desirable features. The school may have to adapt space in churches or schools that are far from ideal. Much can be done in remodelling, however, and in the organization of available space, to make the facilities serve adequately the needs of children.

Sudut bacaan ini digunakan untuk memberi kemudahan berbagai-bagai aktiviti. Sudut-sudut pembelajaran biasanya dihiasi dengan cantik. Oleh itu ia dapat menarik kanakkanak untuk belajar. Pendekatan yang kreatif dalam pembelajaran adalah berasaskan inquiry dan discovery. Sudut bacaan boleh memenuhi matlamat ini. Peralatan seharusnya disusun dengan rapi. Ia mencukupi dan sentiasa ada apabila diperlukan oleh kanak-kanak dan guru. Kanak-kanak akan belajar memilih dan berkongsi bahan-bahan. Kanak-kanak juga akan belajar kemahiran membuat keputusan dalam memilih sudut-sudut dan bahan yang ada. Reading corner is used to facilitate various activities. Classroom space is divided into several parts such as learning spaces for cognitive, manipulative, dramatika and language. Kindergarten management effectiveness depends on proper organization and management of a neat and smooth. Organizations that regularly contains some features. Among them is the arrangement of furniture and equipment, activity corners, planning daily programs, routines, and so on. Piaget observed that children at ages 4-6 years less ego-centric and easily influenced and shaped by family and school activities. a non-threatening learning environment, safe and challenging environment is very important in generating intrinsic motivation to children. Since the beginning of the learning environment of children should be comfortable, attractive and colorful so that the children, teachers and caregivers can live and work together in a happy, relaxed and comfortable.

The Importance Of Having A Literacy rich environment. With borderless world of globalization, the need to prepare children to become global citizens and they need to be reminded about their playgrounds as adults is not limited to their homeland. They should be alert early on multiculturalism, dealing and interacting with others across the world through information and communication technologies and on the ability to work in a different world. Therefore, it is important to ensure that all systems in the community from parents, family and community and the school system, to cooperate fully in order to maximize the potential of the child in a holistic environment includes intellectual environment, culture and spirituality. Children reared and educated these days to be completed not only to face the challenges of time now but also the complexities that face the future. Therefore, educating our children properly is something we need to do, not only for their benefit but also for the future. Quality of human capital is a key element to achieve the national aspiration to become a developed nation by 2020. Human capital development should be holistic, encompassing efforts to gain knowledge and skills, including science and technology, as well as the ability to instill entrepreneurial progressive, positive and ethical manner through education, training and lifelong learning. The process of inculcating good values and skills that are appropriate for comprehensive formation as individuals have started since the child is still a baby. We should not let the aspect of the child's development to learn that the quality of care and early childhood education can yield long-term positive effects. The Government of Malaysia has always been consistently allocated huge sums of money for the development budget for education to ensure that the target advances in education plan goals. The objective of the establishment of the kindergarten is to fill the gap of development, education and care of children since their birth until the age of five years in an effort to provide ongoing care before they enter pre-school and formal schooling system. Thus, the philosophy and curriculum as well as teaching and learning process should be parallel to achieve sustainable development. Parents need to be more friendly in guiding children in finding their environment. Good space management enables teaching and learning process to run smoothly and effectively. Main spaces such as classroom space, a center of learning for pupils either planned or spontaneously. Teachers should be wise to generate creativity to create the space as a center of learning, taking into consideration the comfort, safety harness pupils.

Learning centers established by the teacher should be able to help students in the development and nourishment of herself in a comprehensive and balanced. Teachers need to understand the needs of students and create this space wisely and use the space fully.
