EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 3 Oath of Membership and Oath of Office
WHEREAS, the Prime Movers Society seeks to improve the performance of its members and of its Officers in the Executive Committee; WHEREAS, it is essential that each Member and Officer must serve with outmost responsibility, integrity, efficiency and dedication; WHEREAS, there is no existing provision for an Oath of Membership and an Oath of Office. NOW THEREFORE, I, EDUARD AUNG COLOD KYU JR., President of the Prime Movers Society, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Prime Movers Society Constitution and By-Laws, do hereby enact a Vision-Mission of the Prime Movers Society. SECTION 1- The Oath of Membership of the Prime Movers Society shall be the following: I, (Name of Member), a member of the Prime Movers Society, do solemnly swear to abide and uphold the Constitution and By-Laws of this Organization; to fulfil my duties as an (Official Member or, Affiliate Member, or Honorary Alumni Member) of the Prime Movers Society; to bear true faith and allegiance to the values, and principles of the Social Work Profession; and that I shall take this Oath without mental reservation and negligence. So Help Me God. SECTION 2- The Oath of Office of the Prime Movers Society shall be the following: I, (Name of the Elected Officer), having been elected as (state the position) of the Prime Movers Society, do solemnly swear that I faithfully and conscientiously fulfil my duties to the best of my abilities; To put into practice the values, and principles of the Social Work Profession, without fear or favour, with the aim on view of furthering the purpose and objectives of this Organization and advancing the interest of the community to which it is dedicated; to abide and uphold to the Constitution and By-Laws of the Prime Movers Society; and to conduct myself in a manner befitting a good and genuine Social Worker as to bring honour and prestige to the Prime Movers Society and to the Social Work Profession, and that I shall take this Oath without mental reservation nor the purpose of evasion. So Help Me God. SECTION 3-Effectivity This Executive Act shall take effect on September 28, 2010 Done this 27th day of September 2010 at Saint Louis University, Baguio City
