Banking ManagementSystem (BMS)

Introduction The rural bank is an e-banking product used by many retail and e banks within Philippines and abroad. Security and discretion are some of the most important attributes to a bank and should be represented by their ebanking product. To enforce these attributes, Banking provides a number of security related features. All these currently available features are either proactive or reactive. To this point no forensic functionality to analyse security related events exists. Such an analysis is designed to help understand the circumstances of the event and should result in an improvement of the security systems in place. In addition, the functionality should enable investigation of abuse not registered by the existing security systems but reported by a customer or bank employee. This may include identifying the owner of login credentials used to abuse an account with multiple login credentials or investigating an incident reported to the customer service. Objectives The main objective of this project is to provide a solution for ABC Company a better solution than the one they currently use. In the following sections I will skim the current system with its limitations and the proposed system with its benefits over the existing one.

The existing system takes more time for one task so that it is t i m e loosing.

The current system has no security so the companys data is in risk.

The employees get confused when the customers request ther e ownbalances because it is written in books and needs more t i m e t o g i v e ground total.

It is not compatible with the growing data of the banks customers.

Data of the company have no back-up. The current system has performance problems. The current system cant know black listed customers. The current system does not use transaction processing mechanisms.

Scope and limitation The scope of the project BANKING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM has been describedand can be extended to give the flexibility of performing registrations to thecustomers, and also bank transactions such as depositing and withdrawing. Thisproject mainly concentrates on bank transactions and also gives reports. The current system of ARural Bank is implemented manually by the employee of the Bank. Here you can understand that Banking System needs to take more actions like registering a new customer for depositing or withdrawal m o n e y, b r o a d c a s t i n g i n c o m e s t a t e m e n t a t t h e e n d o f t h e m o n t h s o a s t o

So that, in manual system there is more limitations to perform these actions and to satisfy the customers need Recommendations: This thesis has provided some interesting material for further study. In addition one can think of more regionally oriented research such as on the development of the European Banks market or the development of Asian Banks. More theoretically oriented issues arose from this thesis as w e l l . Banks are competing in a highly competitive environment to offer quality oriented services according to customers expectations. Rural banks face stiff competition from their peers and conventional banks prevailing in the economy. Different aspects of banks are studied by researchers operations, service quality, employee satisfaction, customer satisfaction, financing products, bank efficiency, financial performance etc. as the key segments for research. Many studies tried to assess the quality of services/products offered by the banks. Customers became a center for all banking activities due to increased competition for greater market share. Banks also focus on

demographic characteristics of customers to assess their needs. Every bank is trying to enhance its performance by improving its service quality according to customers' expectations. It requires a study to analyze the bank services and its outcomes in the shape of customers satisfaction and performance.

A senior banker at a state-run bank, however, points out that repaying capacity has become a prime concern, as the possibility of default is rising in the current economic environment. Students graduating from schools in America, Europe, and the West are finding it tougher to find jobs so banks are concerned about lending. Public sector banks are pressured into providing subsidized credit, with the highest risk potential, for a socialist objective rather than a commercial reason. This pressure is only on public sector banks and not private sector banks, points out a senior banker, who did not want to be named.

Local Studies In 1998, University of the East College of Business Administration under her leadership was listed by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) as the number 3 top performing school with over 100 examinees. This continuous performance is the reason that it granted a second level re-accreditation by The Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA). Together with the retention policy there are several programs implemented in order to improve the ratings. Within the past 60 years, the college of business administration produced more than 350 top placers in the CPA Board Examination. Twenty-nine of these were first placers, while 50 were 2nd and 3rd placers. The rest dominated the 4th to the 20th slots. It continues to produce graduates who are highly placed in private and government institutions. The top nursing schools for 2009 for range 1 (with 1000 and up takers) are: Far Eastern University Manila with 1982 passers out of 2656 takers or 74.62% passing rate; Centro Escolar University Manila with 720 out of 1002 or 71.86%. It only proves that the retention has been effective.
