ORDER APPROVING FIRST INTERIM APPLICATIONS FOR

COMPENSATION AND REIMBURSEMENT OF EXPENSES
Upon consideration of the first interim fee applications (the Interim Fee Applications)
filed by the professionals (the Professionals) listed on Schedule A attached hereto and retained
in the Chapter 11 cases of The Christian Brothers Institute and The Christian Brothers of
Ireland, Inc., as debtors and debtors-on-possession (the Debtors), seeking an order under 11
U.S.C. 331 awarding interim compensation and reimbursement of actual expenses, and the
matter having come before this Court on October 17, 2012 (the Hearing); and notice having
been given pursuant to Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure 2002(a)(7) and (c)(2); and due
consideration having been given to any responses thereto; and upon the record established at the
hearing; and sufficient cause having been shown therefor, it is hereby
ORDERED, that the Interim Fee Applications are granted to the extent set forth in the
attached Schedule A on an interim basis; and it is further
ORDERED, that the Debtors are authorized and directed to pay such fee awards and
reimbursement of expenses as set forth on Schedule A attached hereto; and it is further
ORDERED, that this order is without prejudice to each Professionals right to seek
payment at a later date of any amounts not awarded pursuant to this order; and it is further
ORDERED, that this order constitutes a separate order with respect to each Interim Fee
Application.
