The mesoporous molecular sieve MCM-41 was covalently grafted with 3-chloropropyl trimethoxylsilane and then was reacted with [Cr(salpr) (H2O)]Cl, (salpr =N, N-bis(3-salicylidenaminopropyl)amine) to afford MCM-41 containing Cr(salpr) moiety, Cr(salpr)MCM-41. Powder Xray diffraction and nitrogen adsorption-desorption analyses revealed that not only the textural characteristics of the support were preserved during the grafting experiments but also the channels remained accessible despite sequential reduction in surface area. The chromium-containing MCM-41 was shown to successfully catalyze the epoxidation of olefins and also benzylic oxidation of toluene and ethyl benzene with tert-butylhydroperoxide (TBHP). Orthogonal array design, OA9, was employed as a statistical method for optimization of experimental parameters in order to controllable, simple and fast synthesis of nickel tungstate nanoparticles. Ultrafine nickel tungstate nanoparticles were synthesized by a direct precipitation method involving the addition of nickel ion solution to the aqueous tungstate reagent. Effects of various reaction conditions such as nickel and tungstate concentrations, flow rate of reagent addition and reactor temperature on diameter of synthesized nickel tungstate nanoparticles were investigated experimentally. The results for analysis of variance (ANOVA) showed that nickel tungstate nanoparticles can be effectively synthesized by controlling nickel and tungstate concentration and flow rate. Finally, optimum conditions for synthesis of nickel tungstate nanoparticles via this simple, fast, and cost effective method were proposed. The structure and composition of prepared nano-material under optimum condition was characterized by means of X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, UV-Vis spectroscopy, and photoluminescence. Finally, photocatalytic activity of the product in decolorization of methylene blue and methyl red was investigated. A simple method for synthesis of K2W6O19 nanowires with potassium hydroxide as catalyst on a tungsten foil via a unique two-step heating process has been reported. At first step, the temperature was raised up to 390C at a ramping rate of 30C min-1 and keeping at this temperature for half an hour. In the second step, the temperature was then raised up to 400, 600 or 800C at the same rate and maintained for two hours. The synthesized samples were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). SEM images show that best temperature for growth of nanowires with 50 to 90 nm with and several ten micrometers length over the entire sample surface is 600C. The XRD shows that the majority of nanowires were composed of (002) orientation with K2W6O19 structure. According to XPS results, the increasing annealing temperature increases W6+ state on the surface. The photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue over this sample exhibited the grown nanowires have the best photocatalytic activity. In addition, a vapour-liquid-solid mechanism was proposed for describing the growth process of nanowires. Keywords: K2W6O19; Nanowire; Characterization; Photocatalyst; VLS APP 173

ship between the structure of sulfacetamide, sulfathiazole, sulfabenzamide and sulfadiazine as the important medical components and the fullerenes Cn(n=60, 70, 76, 82 and 86), which create [sulfacetamide]. Cn, [sulfathiazole].Cn, [sulfabenzamide].Cn and [sulfadiazine].Cn. The relationship between the number of the carbon atoms and the free energies of electron transfer are assessed, using the ET equation for supramolecular [Sulfonamides].Cn nanocomplexes. The results were applied to calculate the four free energies (Get1) to (Get4) and the four rate constants (ket1) to (ket4) in the photo electron transfer process in the nano supramolecular complexes [Sulfonamide].Cn, (n=60-120).

This article describes the structural properties of Co-Mn hybrid nano particles that immobilized on cow bone as a catalyst for oxidation of 2, 6-diisopropyl naphthalene (2, 6-DIPN) to 2, 6-naphthalene dicarboxylic acid (2, 6-NDCA). Oxidation of 2, 6-DIPN is successful with this catalyst. The structural study was shown that Surface area and volume of the catalyst pores were the greatest and least amount of the immobilized Co and Mn nano particles in the pores of the bone, respectively. Inductively coupled plasma (ICP) studies and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) measurements justified the presence of Hybrid nano particles of Co-Mn which were immobilized on cow bone. Scanning electron microscopy/energy dispersive spectroscopy (SEM/EDS) mapping was shown Co and Mn nano particles distributed on the bone bed. Volume of pores was measured by BrunauerEmmettTeller (BET) method. transmission electron microscopy (TEM) measurements was proved particles size in nano scale (diameter about 1-10 nm) on the surface that were related to Co and Mn. The macro porous structure was detected in bed bone by T-plot method. Keywords: Nano hybrid catalyst; Nano Co; Nano Mn; Wood APP 175

Sulfonamide is the basis of the several groups of drugs. The original antibacterial sulphonamides are synthetic antimicrobial agents that contain the sulfonamide family. The fullerene family, and especially C60, has appealing photo, electrochemical and physical properties, which can be exploited in various medical fields. Fullerene is able to fit inside the hydrophobic cavity of HIV proteases, inhibiting the access of substrates to the catalytic site of enzyme. They were utilized as the carriers of medicine and genes. In this study, using cyclic voltammetery experimental method, the oxidation potentials of four sulfonamid compounds in a biological PH (6.95) were obtained. The number of carbon atoms in the fullerenes was used as an index to establish a relation-
