posites were characterized. The flexural strength of unshocked, after 1 cycle and 10 cycles were investigated. Results Showed that SiC can improve flexural strength and thermal shock resistance of aluminamullite-zirconian composites. Molecular dynamics simulation is performed to compute the mechanical properties of graphene. The obtained tensile strength and Youngs modulus are in agreements with experimental results. It is found that hydrogen functionalization can considerably modify the mechanical properties of graphene. It is also shown that the regular or random hydrogen coverage shape can have different effects on the mechanical properties of graphene. In this study, fabrication and characterization of bulk Al-5vol. %B4C, Al-5vol. %SiC, Al-5vol. %SiO2, nanocomposite was investigated. B4C, SiC, SiO2, nanoparticles were mixed with pure Aluminium powder by ball milling to produce Al-B4C, Al-SiC, Al-SiO2 Powders subsequently hot pressed to produce bulk Nanocomposite samples. Produce sample were characterized by vikers hardness and tensile tests. Results showed these samples Al-5vol. %B4C, Al-5vol. %SiO2 had a value of 131.34, 95.44 which are significantly higher than 33 HV for pure Aluminium. Also, ultimate tensile strength of the samples, Al-B4C, Al-SiC, Al- SiO2 were measured to be 445.37 Mpa, 270 Mpa, 305.55 Mpa which are much higher than pure Al (100 Mpa). Also Poisson ratio of samples where measured. Finally, by the scanning electron microscopy (SEM) failure area of produced samples were analyzed.

In this study, nano structured Cu-based shape memory compound with two defined chemical compositions (CAM1 (Cu-12.5%Al-5%Mn) and CAM2 (Cu-12.5%Al-10%Mn) in %Wt) were produced by mechanical alloying method in different times (2.5, 5, 10, 15 and 25 hours). X-ray diffraction (XRD) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) analyses were done for investigation and characterization of pre-alloying powder. The mechanical properties of the powder specimens were determined by measuring the hardness and density values. The highest hardness values for CAM1 and CAM2 were measured in milled powders after 25 h (990 and 1050 HV, respectively) and the highest density values were obtained in milled powders after 15 h for both CAM1 and CAM2 samples. In this study, the mechanical properties of NiTi thin films implanted with carbon and nitrogen ions at 80 keV energy and 31017 cm-2 ion doses was investigated by nanoindentation and nanoscratching tests. Nanoindentation and nanoscratching tests revealed the improvement of wear behavior of NiTi thin films after ion implantation via increasing nanohardness (3.11 to 6.2 and 7.3 Gpa after carbon and nitrogen ion implantation respectively) and decreasing of scratch coefficient (0.22 to 0.18 and 0.17 after carbon and nitrogen ion implantation) and wear depth. Alumina mullite zirconia composites are widely used in many applications, like fore hearth, distributer, and glass melting furnace, as plunger, spout, tubes stirrers, channels, rotor segments and mantle blocks. This work reports on the effect of SiC nanoparticles addition on the thermomechanical properties of alumina mullite zirconia composites. The amount of SiC nanopowder was 0, 3, 5, 7 and 10 vol. %. The samples were made by gelcasting method. All samples sintered in air and graphite bed for 2 h at 1650 C. Densities of sintered com-
