Are there certain electives, concentrations, or minors that you should consider taking because they would provide you with additional knowledge, skills and experiences for your field of interest? If so, add them into your above planning. If you cannot fit them into your degree and graduate by your targeted goal date, would you consider staying for an additional semester? Consult with your Academic Advisor to make sure you correctly are interpreting your degree information.
I am considering getting a minor in Organizational, Leadership and Supervision (OLS). I have already taken 2 out of the 4 courses to get a minor and it focuses on organizations within business and leadership which would be helpful to add on to my major. Certified Financial Planner (CFP)

What certification programs and professional association would be important for you to obtain and join Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) to enhance your professionalism?
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)

To advance in your field, will you need to obtain an advanced degree and when would be the best time to pursue that (directly after earning your undergraduate degree or after you gain professional experience in your field)? To advance in my field it would maybe be a good idea to go for my masters (MBA). But for now I plan on graduating as an undergrad and going into the work force and take it from there. I hope to get my foot in the door with a company and build my way up, and if the time comes that they think I should get my MBA then I will do so. I dont want to jump into right after school if its something that I wont end up needing in the long run. Also, a company would be more likely to pay for me to get my masters if I had already worked for them for several years.
