SUBJECT Final Legal Notice for the payment of the outstanding amount : of Rs. 28,170/- (Twenty Eight Thousand One Hundred and Seventy Rupees). Sir, Our Client, namely Mr. Shahid Akram, resident of House No. 155, Lane No. 9, Askari IX, Zarrar Shaheed Road, Lahore Cantonment, Lahore, has instructed us to serve upon you the following Final Legal Notice. 1. That our Client owns and operates a Motor Vehicle bearing Registration No. LED-07-7987, with the name of Honda Civic. 2. That on 11/02/2012, our Client approached your Workshop/Service Center for the inspection and repairing of his Motor Vehicle, as oil had been leaking from the same. After the examination of our Clients Motor Vehicle, your mechanic informed our Client that oil had been leaking from his Motor Vehicle as the Power Steering Fluid Oil, Seal Pump Kit, Power Steering Seal Kit, Steering Oil Seal, and Power Steering Seal (UH6) needed replacement. Further, the Motor Vehicle of

our Client had been handed over to him by your Workshop on 13/02/2012, after the replacement of the above mentioned parts, along with the overhauling of the steering. Furthermore, you had charged our Client a sum of Rs. 16,760/- (Sixteen Thousand Seven Hundred and Sixty Rupees) for the replacement of the above mentioned parts and overhauling of the steering along with labour charges vide Invoice bearing No. 44818 dated 13/02/2012. 3. Thereafter, on 24/02/2012, our Client again approached your

Workshop/Service Center for the repairing of his Motor Vehicle, as oil had been leaking from the same for a second time. Having replaced the Power Steering Fluid Oil, Seal Pump Kit, Power Steering Seal Kit, Steering Oil Seal, and Power Steering Seal (UH6), and having overhauled the steering of our Clients Motor Vehicle by your Workshop on 11/02/2012, and the reoccurrence of the leakage of oil, your mechanic, while assuring our Client that he will not confront any problems regarding the leakage of oil in the future, replaced the power steering seal kit, power steering fluid oil, and tie clumps of our Clients Motor Vehicle. Thereafter, you had charged our Client a sum of Rs. 950/- (Nine Hundred and Fifty Rupees) for the replacement of the above mentioned parts, along with the overhauling and changing of the power steering assembly, vide Invoice bearing No. 45291 dated 24/02/2012. 4. Thereafter, on 26/02/2012, just two days after the replacement of the above mentioned parts of our Clients Motor Vehicle by your Workshop, our Client was forced to approach Honda Fort Private Limited, located at 32, Queens Road, Lahore, for the repairing of his Motor Vehicle, as oil had been leaking from the same yet again. After the examination of our Clients Motor Vehicle, the mechanic of the said Workshop/Service Center informed our Client that oil had been leaking from the same, as

the power steering of our Clients Motor Vehicle, which had been earlier repaired by your Workshop/Service Center on 11/02/2012 and 24/02/2012, respectively, needed fixing/restoration. Further, Honda Fort Private Limited had charged our Client a sum of Rs. 10,460/- (Ten Thousand Four Hundred and Sixty Rupees) for the replacement of parts and repair of our Clients Motor Vehicle, along with labour charges. 5. Despite repeated requests and reminders, you have miserably failed to refund a sum of Rs. 17,710/- (Seventeen Thousand Seven Hundred and Ten Rupees) that had been charged by your Workshop/Service Center from our Client on 11/02/2012 and 24/02/2012, respectively. Therefore, in these circumstances, you are required to refund a sum of Rs. 28,170/- (Twenty Eight Thousand One Hundred and Seventy Rupees) that has been charged by your Workshop/Service Center, as well as Honda Fort Private Limited, on account of the defective parts and faulty services provided by your Workshop/Service Center, from our Client. In case you fail to do the needful within 7 days of the receipt of this Notice, our Client has instructed us to take all civil, as well as criminal legal actions against you which in particular include, but not limited to, seeking damages on account of losses suffered/incurred by our Client, as per the applicable laws of Pakistan. Needless to add, the above-said actions shall be initiated and pursued entirely at your risk as to costs and consequences.
