Canada Vs USA ENERGY RESOUCES Usa- fossil fuels, thermal energy. their non renewable resources include coal oil, and natural gas. (They also have large reserves for the resources mentioned) . USA owns 25% of the coal in the world. And they use the most amount of electricity in the world. USA also has started using more renewable resources like solar, water, and
Canada-Self sufficient in energy. Most of it energy comes from hydroelectric and then fossil fuels follow. They use more energy per capita than the USA. It exports more energy than imported. USA has purchased 90% of its energy from Canada.Canada also uses solar and wind power but in small amounts Global Patterns

USA- Has higher and more mountain ranges than Canada Canada Political *Insert Map Both are divided through states which are divided by cities. USA- Has more cities, that are scattered throughout the country. Canada- Most of Canada's major cities lay in the south of the country. Climate *Insert Map Two major climates are arid and humid climates. USA- Southeast has a humid subtropical climate, North East has a Humid Continental climate, A portion of the Southwest includes a Mediterranean climate. The Northern and central climate consists of a highlands, semi arid climates, and arid climates. Canada-Most of Canada's land is occupied by a subtropical climate. The Southeast is humid continental. And the Southwest consists of a marine west coast, highlands and a semi arid area.
