Thank You!
The Romulus seniors extend a heartfelt thank you to all of the elected officials, city employees and business people that donated gifts to our Holiday Gala and throughout the year. Also, thank you to the Greater Romulus Chamber of Commerce and to Scott Daugherty, sales consultant at Jack Demmer Ford, for donating money, gifts and raffles during Senior Center events. In the photo, Senior Center Director Rose Swidan accepts $300 in gift cards from Scott that were presented to grateful seniors during the Thanksgiving luncheon in November.
Chore servicemen will work hard to remove snow for all seniors on the Chore service list. Please be patient. Those with restrictions and medical problems should stay in their homes. Please leave salt by your door. After they remove your snow, they will salt your driveway. Due to budget constraints, shoveling will not take place every day it snows. Hours will be limited.

Thanksgiving Memories
Romulus seniors enjoyed the annual Thanksgiving Luncheon on November 20. Thank you to the City of Romulus and Wayne County officials and other volunteers who helped serve the delicious meal. Seniors also enjoyed music and winning prizes. Special thanks to the Romulus High School culinary arts class, under the direction of Chef Walter Banks, for providing 50 pies for the meal.
