PREFACE

Allhamdulillah praise to Allah that we are able to finish the assignments given in this UNGS 2040 course.We would like to thank all the students and lecturers and also to everyone who have contributed and help us to spread the message of truth. During the progress in finishing this assignment, we have found a lot of scientific miracles that we have never even think and heard of. Although, we couldnt include all the miracles that we have found, at least we try our best to share with everyone the most famous and interesting foundings that should at least make people aware of the miraculous information contain in the al-Quran. We have decided that the arrangement of the foundings should come from the least to most significant miracles. Lastly, it should be noted that, science law could change throughout time and we humans are not perfect our minds are very limited. We highly appreciate to anyone who would like to correct our mistake because almost all of our topics are based on what science can tell us today. In the future, there might be a slight alteration of the findings but we believe that, the Quran is the word of Allah, and it will always be correct.

INTRODUCTION
The Quran is the word of Allah that has been sent to Prophet Muhammad by the link of angel Jibrail around 1400 years ago. It took 23 years for Prophet Muhammad(p.b.u.h) to complete the Quran that consist of 114 surah altogether . Allah caused the Quran to descend from the Protected Tablet (alLawh al-Mahfuz) on which it was written to the lowest heaven. In this revelation all of the Quran was sent down at one time to a station in the lowest heaven referred to as Bayt al-Izzah(The House of Honor or Power). The blessed night on which this descent took place is called Laylatul-Qadr (The night of Decree). Allah referred to this initial revelation as follows: Haa Meem. By the Book that makes things clear- We sent it down during a Blessed Night: for We (ever) wish to warn (against Evil).[Al-Dukhan:1-3] We have indeed revealed this (Message) in the Night of Power.[Al-Qadr:1] Ramadhan is the (month) in which was sent down the Quran, as a guide to mankind,.[Al-Baqarah: 185] These verses have to refer to the initial revelation because it is known fact that the whole Quran was not revealed to Prophet Muhammad p.b.u.h. on a single night in Ramadhan. Ibn Abbas stated that the Quran was first separated from its station in the upper heavens and place in Bayt al-Izzah in the lowest heaven. One version states that this took place on the Night of Decree in Ramadhan. Had it been Allahs wish, the Quran could then have been revealed as a whole to the Prophet p.b.u.h. in a single revelation. In the dictionary, a miracle means that 1)an effect or extraordinary event in the physical world that surpasses all known human or natural powers and is ascribed to a supernatural cause. 2)such an effect or event manifesting or considered as a work of God. It is part of faith for a Muslim to believe that the Quran is the word of Allah the God of the heaven and the earth thus the Quran itself is a miracle that has been sent down to Prophet Muhammad who he himself was an illiterate person who had never even know how to write nor read. So it is impossible for Muhammad to come out a remarkable book that is rich in literature, consist of many scientific facts, laws and etc. Speaking of miracle, it is interesting that Prophets of the past were also given through them miracles of their own by Allahs will. Take Prophet Musa and Isa for example. Musa were given a stick that could turn into a big snake while prophet Isa could revive dead man back alive. If we analyze and compare two of this great miracles and ask ourselves of these two is a greater than the other, we certainly agree that the miracle of Prophet Musa is much greater because he could turn a dead stick into other living form and giving life to it(by Allahs will) while Prophet Isa only gives life to a dead person(by Allahs will). Back to Prophet Muhammad SAW, he was also given several types of miracle such as the splitting of the moon by half, the night journey, the meal multiplication, the speech of the wolf and several others. However,

the greatest miracle of our Prophet is the Quran and it is the greatest miracle reveal by Allah to mankind since Prophet Adam. In the Quran Allah has spoken about many things in the Quran as a guidance to us. To prove that the Quran is the word of Allah, there are many evidence that we can find. This 21st century, where technology are improving so rapid that had never happened in human history before has shown that many natural phenomenon has been described in the Quran around 1400 years ago. Many western scholors have accepted and approve this phenomenon and many have converted to Islam. For this reason we have decided to disscuss briefly on scientific facts that exist in the Quran. Before that it is important to realize that the Quran is not a scientific book or any other kinds of book that we may find today but it is in fact a book of guidance. This is the reason why some evidence that we find in the Quran are scattered in various Surah and there should be reasons to why Allah did this. Same like what the ancient people of the past believe but they couldnt prove it. Alhamdulillah, today many verses of the Quran have become more clearer as days past by.

THE QURAN & THE MIND

It is common knowledge that Muslims recognize three other holy books that have been revealed to past Prophet for a specific people. Although Muslims are often taught that the 3 remaining books previous to the Quran have been altered, still, Muslims for the most part, respect those 3 holy books. The 3 holy books are known as the Tawrat(Old Testament), Zabur(Psalms), and Injil(New Testament). Many Christians today believe that, their holy book which is the Bible is the word of god. For us muslims, we respect this statement, because we believe that, the Bible in its original form is the word of god(Allah). However we also believe that the bible today are altered and is corrupted. Sheikh Ahmed Deedat in his speech, said that for any religious book to declare the word of god must face the test of time. We have without doubt sent down the Message; and We will assuredly guard it (from corruption). (Surah Al Hijr 15:9) Until today, many verses in the Quran have been approve legit and parallel to what science shows us. There are still some verses that still couldnt be understand or proven the exact meaning but it doesnt mean that the verses are incorrect. Prophet Muhammad teached us that we should find Al-Ilmu while we are young until we die. The most important Ilm that one should acquire is the knowledge about Islam.One of the most important knowledge that every born Muslim should acquire is the knowledge on how to read the Quran with proper tajwid . It is a sunnah that we recite it emotionally and understand its meanings. Until this part, theres still no evidence to point out that the Quran is a miracle. Why did we compare the Quran with the Bible? Recent studies on infant that are given proper education early by reading story books , play rhyming games together, read aloud and sing songs have shown affects on brain development. The connections between brain cells in a child's brain are developing constantly. Current thinking suggests that about 30 percent to 60 percent of our brain's wiring depends on heredity, while about 40 percent to 70 percent develops based on interactions with the environment, including parents. A parent's care and guidance are much more likely to influence certain aspects of the brain. The brain literally is growing new connections on a constant basis. Research has shown that experiences with new kinds of activity or stimulation can generate growth in the brain within only a few hours after the experiences begin. Activities such as exercise, listening to music or throwing a ball actually cause different areas of the brain to grow new neural connections, develop stronger connections or become more

active. Frequent new learning experiences and challenges are like "nutrients" to the brain that enhance growth. Theres and old English saying that sounds you are what you eat. Even the English newspaper have come out a saying that sounds you are what you read. From the above explanation on infants we tend to agree this also applies to adults. In the Quran, Allah is teaching us many moral values that we should apply in our daily life. For example:

Your Lord has decreed that you should worship none but Him, and that you should show kindness to your parents. Whether one or both of them reach old age with you, do not say "Ugh!" to them out of irritation and do not be harsh with them but speak to them with gentleness and generosity. Take them under your wing, out of mercy, with due humility and say: "Lord, show mercy to them as they did in looking after me when I was small". (Surat alIsra': 23-24 ) Allah is teaching us, children of Adam to show respect to our elders. By reciting the Quran to young people, our child, brothers , nephews ,our fathers and most importantly ourselves should improve ourselves in becoming a better person. The Quran has been proven that it could develop a childs brain development. Even, it also could enhance plants to produce more fruits, flowers, stimulates grows and etc. In the European countries some farmers feed their crops with the sound of soft music. This is one the proof that the Quran is the word of Allah(god). And they say: None shall enter Paradise unless he be a Jew or a Christian. Those are their (vain) desires. Say: Produce your proof if you are truthful.[Surah (2) Al-Baqarah: 111] The verse above is very interesting that we Muslim and also Christians and Jews should know and understand. Did you know that in the 1980s in South Africa about 8% of the white society have commited incest. While in the US a famous Christian debater has stated that it has reached an epidemics proportion. Estimates of the number of incest victims in the United States vary. These discrepancies can be attributed to the fact that incest remains an extremely underreported crime. All too often, pressure from family members -- in addition to threats or pressure from the abuser -- results in extreme reluctance to reveal abuse and to subsequently obtain help (Matsakis, 1991).Incest has been cited as the most common form of child abuse. Studies conclude that 43 percent (43%) of the children who are abused are abused by family members, 33 percent (33%) are abused by someone they know, and the remaining 24 percent (24%) are sexually abused by strangers (Hayes, 1990). Other research indicates that over 10 million Americans have been victims of incest. One of the source of problems that we could have think of to this problem might comes from the Holy Bible that the Christians believe in. Like in the South Africa majority of the white people are Christians, and their readings had affected their minds becoming a rapist. Alhamdulillah, we Muslims read on the Quran that consist of many stories of the Prophets that have so many good values in it. The story of prophet Yusuf and Prophet Musa have been mentioned in great length and neither in this 2 Prophet stories that we should take an example are talking about child abduction or any other inmoral acts, Alhamdulillah.

The Quran is a miracle because its content have been preserved by Allah since 1400 years ago until today, and it is widely recited and considered one of the most authentic ancient manuscript. Quran in its exact form is in Arabic, and the number of words, ayah, and surah are the same even though it comes in various different type of translation and commentation. Not like the bible, which comes in many kinds of version. Like the case of incest above, some biblical version comes with it, some doesnt. Some even took a number of chapters out, and some with different interpretation and meaning totally. From the points that have been given out, it is true that the Quran is the word of Allah not the Bible, and it is truly a miracle that it can develop human brain and give peace to the reciter. Truly this is the only religious text, when we read it can give us good deeds even though we do not know its meanings. This is truly one out of many scientific miracle of the Quran and yet many other more significant signs exist.

AERODYNAMIC FORCES AND THE FLIGHT PROGRAMMED IN BIRDS

Do they not see the birds suspended in mid-air up in the sky? Nothing holds them there except Allah. There are certainly signs in that for people who believe.(Surat an-Nahl, 79) Due to the force of gravity, all bodies left in the air will eventually fall to earth, either fast or slowly. Everything, living or otherwise, is subject to gravity. But as a miracle of Allah (God) birds are able to resist this force and fly upward and downward in the air. They maneuver in the air, and sometimes even fold their wings and glide through it. All details in birds, from their feathers to their lungs, from the arrangement of their feathers to the shape of their wings, are equipped with a special feature and order intended to enable them to fly. A chick totally unaware of the act of flight and the laws of aerodynamics is born with the ability to fly. The chick launches itself downwards and begins to fly, just as if it knew its body was created for flight. This is not information that is taught subsequently or that a bird learns by trial and error. The way a bird knows it has the body structure needed to fly, finds the courage to launch itself into the air and then flies without hitting the ground all happens through Allahs inspiration. The Arabic word yumsikuhunna translated as holds in verse 79 of Surat an-Nahl means not letting them go, taking them, catching them, or holding them. The word is the present tense of the verse amsaka, meaning to catch with the hand, hold and pull back. With this word, our Almighty Lord reveals that He holds the bird in the air and that it flies by His command. Bird flight is still the subject of wide-ranging research by scientists. Having observed the perfection in bird flight, scientists use the avian body and avian flight as direct models in producing such vehicle as airplanes and jets. Verse 79 of Surat an-Nahl may in one way be indicating the way that birds comply with the aerodynamic laws created by Allah as they fly. (Allah knows the truth.) The science of aerodynamics studies the behavior of solid bodies in a fluid environment such as air. For example, as a plane moves through the air, various forces emerge that affect that movement. In order for the plane to move as planned and not to run into any unexpected forces or resistance, the plane is tested beforehand against the resistance exhibited by the air. Its movement is planned as a result of lengthy calculations, measurements and experiments. The way that birds comply with the principles of aerodynamics continues to astonish scientists. Using no form of trial and error, they cope with the laws of aerodynamics in the most perfect manner. The use of the word " musakhkharatin" (suspended) in the verse to describe bird flight is exceedingly wise. Because it suggests that they have been encouraged to a specific end, have had to do something, have submitted or bowed their heads, have bound themselves to Allah or have submitted to His laws. In that way, the verse may be indicating the way that aerodynamic laws have a determining influence on bird flight. (Allah knows the truth).

At first sight there would appear to be nothing to make it difficult for birds to fly. But according to aerodynamics, any object flying in the air is subject to various different forces. The best-known of these are gravity, propulsion, drag and lift. In order for meaningful flight to take place, these forces have to be balanced. For example, if gravity is stronger than the other forces, the bird will fall to earth. That is why the word in the verse is the best possible expression of birds condition as they are subjected to these forces. The presence in the Quran of expressions containing such information at a time when no science of aerodynamics or mechanics existed, once again reveals that the Quran is a divine text.

The tops of birds wings are curved, the bottoms flat. This shape produces lower pressure on the top compared to the bottom. This difference in air pressure produces a lift force that enables the bird to rise in the air by beating its wings upward. (right) (1) The air moving rapidly around the birds wings produces the lift force. (2) The bird bends its wings in order to obtain greater lift force. The air flowing over the wings is thus accelerated. (3) If it inclines its wings upward at a very steep angle, air cannot easily flow to the upper parts of the wings and the bird loses speed and stalls. Through Allahs inspiration, birds make use of the principles of aerodynamics as they fly.

In addition to the aerodynamic perfection in bird flight, scientists are also researching the migrations of thousands of kilometers that they make. Ornithologists have today concluded that these are literally programmed in them. The way that young birds are able to undertake long and arduous journeys with no guide or previous experience is the most obvious example of this. The Arabic word musakhkharatin" in the verse quoted above implies being encouraged toward a specific target, being taken under command, being taken under submission, clearly revealing that birds obey the instructions they are given when following the directions set out for them. There is no possibility of birds, which are devoid of intellect and consciousness, managing to

make their own calculations as they fly along. Scientists today are agreed that these extraordinary abilities in birds are pre-programmed in them. This is set out in an article in the journal Science: There is good evidence that young birds are equipped with endogenous migratory programs, which tell them roughly how many days and/or nights that they must fly, and in what direction. In his book La Puissance et la Fragilit, Prof. Pierre Jean Hamburger from Ren Descartes University describes the extraordinary 24,000-kilometer journey made by the shearwater that lives in the Pacific Ocean: It sets out from the coast of Australia. From there it flies straight southward to the Pacific. Then it turns north and flies along the coast of Japan until reaching the Bering Sea where it can rest for a while. Following that break it sets off again, and this time heads south. Crossing the western coast of America, it arrives in California. It then crosses the Pacific to return to its starting point. The route and timing of this 15,000-mile (24,000-kilometer) figure 8 journey it makes every year never change. The journey in question lasts a whole six months, always coming to an end in the third week of September on the island it left six months before, at the nest it left six months before. What comes next is even more astonishing; after their return, the birds clean their nests, mate, and lay a single egg over the last 10 days of October. The chicks hatch out two months later, grow very fast and are cared for over three months until their parents set out on that stupendous journey. Two weeks later; around the middle of April, it is time for the young birds to take wing on their own journey. They follow exactly the same route as that described above, with no guide. The explanation is so obvious: These birds must have all the directions for such a journey within the inherited characteristics passed on within the egg. Some people may claim that birds navigate by the Sun and stars or follow the winds prevailing along their route on this journey out and back. But it is clear that these factors cannot determine the journeys geographical and chronological accuracy. Prof. Peter Berthold is a famous ornithologist who has investigated bird migration for 20 years and president of the Max Planck Institute Ornithological Research Center in Germany. He says the following about bird migration: Every year an estimated 50 billion birds make migratory journeys, along a network of routes that encompasses the whole world. Sometimes travelling tens of thousands of kilometers, crossing continents and oceans, migratory birds have become so well adapted to this task that they can traverse the largest deserts and seas, the highest mountains and expanses of ice... migratory birds have comprehensive, detailed, innate spatio-temporal programs for successful migration. Such programs evidently enable even young, inexperienced birds to migrate alone, with no adult guide, to the species- or population-specific winter quarters that they have never seen before. As will be explained further below, they do this by "vector" navigation: referring to a vector composed of a genetically predetermined migratory direction and to a time-plan, also genetically predetermined, for the course of migration... It follows that the departure time is programmed by genetic factors... But how do birds "know" the direction in which to migrate, so that they will reach their specific winter quarters? Here, again data have been obtained that point to direct genetic control mechanisms. It has long been suspected that migration directions are innate... when displaced from the normal starting point, and still more crucially, when tested in orientation

cages, migratory birds showed directional preferences practically identical to the normal ones, even if they had never migrated before. Now a number of experiments have provided evidence of the genetic determination of migration direction... Even these directional changes are evidently programmed endogenously to a great extent... With an innate pattern of migratory activity, the birds possess a genetically determined migration schedule. In combination with genetically determined migratory directions, as mentioned above, it guides even inexperienced individuals, migrating for the first time, "automatically" to their previously unknown winter quarters (vector navigation, using a vector composed of a time- and a direction-plan). In conclusion, although scientists are unable to fully account for it, scientists still agree that migration is pre-programmed behavior that birds possess from birth. Journeys lasting thousands of kilometers, the preparations made for these flights and birds ability to find their way and navigate during flight all take place by our Lords choosing, as expressed in the above verse. The accuracy of all the information provided in the Quran is important evidence that this information has all been revealed by Allah.

The smallest hummingbirds weigh barely more than a penny, and the largest weigh in at just 0.7 ounces (20 grams). Despite their mini stature, hummingbirds are among the world's largest hovering animals. Hummingbirds don't fly like other birds. Instead of flapping their wings up and down, hummingbirds oscillate their wings in a figure-eight pattern. The oscillation produces lift on both the downstroke and the upstroke. When hovering, hummingbirds generate extra lift by creating a

vortex of air on the leading edge of their wings. These wing vortices are very unstable, meaning they should vanish at the teensiest nudge. The hummingbirds have been given a clever way around that problem. Their wingsproduce the vortex with a high angle of attack on the downstroke. Then they flip their wings around on the upstroke, so as they shed one vortex, they produce another on the other side of the wing, thereby managing to maintain high lift forces. A gust of wind could upset this delicate balance, but its not so. Another miracle is about Hummingbirds energy consumption.

Unlike humans who must fuel up hours before intense exercise, hummingbirds can refuel in mid-flight, as wisdom from Allah. Within several minutes of lapping up sweet nectar, the rufous hummingbird uses the just-ingested sugars to fuel more flying and hovering so it can consume more nectar. Hummingbirds have the highest energy expenditure of any warm-blooded animal, with a heart rate of up to 500 beat per minute, blindingly fast wing beats and sustained hovering. So this bird is nearly always on the edge of starvation, needing to slurp up more than its body weight in nectar

each day.

Scientists fasted hummingbirds before giving them cane nectar, a type of nectar that has a characteristic level of the carbon-13 isotope, a form of carbon having a different number of neutrons. As each bird lapped up the sugary substance, the scientists used a special device on the feeder to measure its oxygen intakeused to calculate energy consumedand the carbon in its breath. By comparing the energy requirement with the amount of carbon-13, they showed that within 20 minutes of feeding, the hummingbirds were supporting more than 90 percent of their hovering

needs with the cane sugar. This is the first time anybody has shown a vertebrate animal able to support such a high fraction of exercise metabolism with very newly ingested sugar. Compare that with a human: An elite cyclist at 60 percent of his maximum aerobic rate can only support 15 to 30 percent of his energy needs with consumed sugars. He needs a high carbohydrate meal such as spaghetti the night before an event in order to process and shuttle the sugar energy to his muscles.

When human or other animals consume meal, they cant convert the food to energy immediately as hummingbirds. Hummingbirds are created in this way because they need the mechanism to survive; but a human does not need such mechanism. Allah creates everything in a perfect way what they need. .. the handiwork of Allah Who gives to everything its solidity.. (Surat an-Naml, 88)

BEES
Technological knowledge of bees
Bees, which are a large family composed of twenty thousand species, are among the beings that have the most striking knowledge of engineering and architecture, posess social lives which are quite different from many other animals and that leave the scientists who examine them in astonishment at their communication skills. Bees have great technological knowledge as well as their honey-making ability, which is one of their most well-known and miraculous abilities. Bees behave according to Allahs inspiration, just like all other beings on earth. Allah Who created everything reveals His sovereignty over living things in Surah Hud as such: ... There is no creature He does not hold by the forelock. My Lord is on a Straight Path. (Surah Hud, 56)

Bees That Solve Problems Faster Than Computers

Computers are used in many areas of daily life, mainly in communication, gathering data, engineering and research. Today computers are used in the solving of many problems. The help of computers are resorted to in order to find the shortest way in terms of time and distance. Computers compare the length of possible routes and choose the shortest one for solving this complicated mathematical problem. However, they can never do it in a rapid fashion. But bees, which have a brain as tiny as a grass seed, can find the shortest route without the help of any devices . This is because bees looking for food solve the problem of finding the shortest way in the shortest time, which computers find difficult to solve, every day routinely. Every day, bees travel around the flowers found in many different regions; they must use lots of energy to fly and for this reason they find a route that will keep their flight to a minimum. For this they first discover the location of flowers. Then, they immediately learn to fly on the best route in order to save energy and time. So, how do bees tiny brains solve this problem of finding this perfect short way, in comparison to peoples technological assistants depending on traffic flow, internet knowledge and road computers? The answer of this question is again the same. Our Almighty Lord created all beings with His infinite might and knowledge and bestowed the most appropriate features for their environments. In one verse it is revealed as such: The Originator of the heavens and earth. When He decides on something, He just says to it, Be! and it is.(Surat al-Baqara, 117)

Bees That Have Ultraviolet Vision

When bees fly into a garden, they see flowers very differently than people do. This is because they detect ultraviolet light as an additional color and when they look at flowers, they see different patterns than people do. These patterns are not formed randomly. Our Almighty Lord has created different patterns on every flower specially. The characteristic of these patterns is to direct the bees to where the nectar is, just like the lines on an airport runway. In this way, bees can reach the flowers nectar rapidly. There is a very important connection between flowers and bees. Both creatures act according to Allahs inspiration and so attract one another. For example, flowers that need to be fertilized by bees secrete the nectar that will attract the bees. Allah bestowed on flowers the characteristics that will attract bees with their scents and vibrant colors. But the characteristics Allah bestowed on flowers are not limited to these; this is because flowers also have lines that help the bees reach the nectar easily. This relationship between bees and flowers is very important in terms of human beings. This is because beekeeping is very important for agricultural purposes. Many fruit trees and flowers are fertilized through bees. Therefore, some specialists recognize this support provided by bees as a contribution far more important than honey production. When this information is considered, one immediately thinks about the verses about the honeybee in Surat an-Nahl. Allah draws attention that bees eat from all fruits in these verses: Your Lord revealed to the bees: Build dwellings in the mountains and the trees, and also in the structures which men erect. Then eat from every kind of fruit and travel the paths of your Lord, which have been made easy for you to follow. From inside them comes a drink of varying colours, containing healing for mankind. There is certainly a Sign in that for people who reflect. (Surat an-Nahl, 68-69)

Bees Act With Allahs Inspiration Just Like All Other Creatures

The perfect systems in bees and abilities such as rational behavior, calculation, planning, construction and technological knowledge clearly prove that it is impossible for a bee to be formed and maintain its existence through coincidences. Therefore, evolutionists theories of coincidence have no validity. This is because even these examples given in this article show that bees are created all at once, and with the systems they possess. Allah created bees with superior qualities, just like all other living things. And He granted bees technological abilities to produce honey in amounts more than they need and gave them to the service of human beings. So these characteristics show one truth: Allah is the One Who grants these features and amazing abilities to the bees. Allah shows us His infinite knowledge and matchless creation just as in all other beings. For a person who witnesses this creation, the only thing to do is to praise our Lord and surrender to Him. In one verse, He reveals the importance of evidences of creation as follows: And in your creation and all the creatures He has spread about there are Signs for people with certainty. (Surat al-Jathiyya, 4)

The Reason That Bees Visit the Same Flower Species When Collecting Nectar
An interesting situation that will attract notice is bees that collect honey in a field full of different flowers are watched for a little while. Bees come and go between a single flower species at a time. When they fly from one flower to another, they do not even pay attention to other flower species. This action of bees that visit the same flowers, sometimes for days, is beneficial for both them and the flowers. We can explain this situation as such: A bee that lands on a flower for the first time may have to work for a very long time to find a single drop of nectar, when it does not know the structure of the flower. The bee gains speed and skill only after it visits the same flower for the fifth or the sixth time, and it begins to save time as it can reach its target easily. This situation is beneficial for flowers because as bees prefer one species of flower, a speedy and safe fertilization is ensured. This is because a flowers pollen cannot fertilize other flowers, and the flower can only be fertilized by the travels taken by bees among the same flowers. Bees use scents to find the same species of flowers.

Bees mark the flowers, which they visited for once or collected nectar or pollens, by leaving a scent. So the bees that come after them do not lose time and energy for no reason.

The Flawless System in the Bees Body Structures

There is a matchless creation in the bees body structures. Every organ of the bee is created specially to carry out its current tasks. For example, the skeleton of the bee is very strong. Its respiratory system has a structure that will provide more nutrients for the tissues by using the air better. The muscle structure has different qualities in every area of the body according to different needs. For example, there is no outer membrane, which is found in other muscles, on its wing muscles to provide more oxygen. In the same way, the olfactory and taste systems are also created according to the bees task of collecting flowers. All of the perfect bodily structures of bees are only one of the many evidences of Allahs matchless art of creation and infinite wisdom. Allah reveals that He encompasses all things with His wisdom in one verse: Your god is Allah alone, there is no god but Him. He encompasses all things in His knowledge. (Surah Ta Ha, 98)

Examples of Bees Other Miraculous Creation Characteristics

Bees at the same hive visit 225,000 flowers a day. A single bee generally visits 50 to 1,000 flowers a day. Sometimes this number can be a few thousand. The queen bee produces 2,000 eggs five or six minutes apart. In this way, it can produce almost two hundred thousand eggs a year. Bees need to visit two million flowers in order to produce 450 grams of honey. In order to produce one kilogram of honey, they travel a distance equal to traveling around the world four times.

A bee can travel fat speeds of twenty to twenty five kilometers per hour. According to the results of a research, the bee brain works faster than the most advanced computers of the world. Today, the most advanced computer can do sixteen billion processes per second. The bee brains number of processes is exactly 625 times, meaning ten trillion. While the bee brain can do so many processes, it consumes far less energy than a computer. The energy consumed by ten million bees is as much as the energy needed to light a 100-watt bulb. (The bee brain consumes less than ten microwatts of energy) Some spider species imitate the patterns on flowers, which Allah created for the bees to find the nectar easily, and use these patterns while knitting their webs. In this way, bees assume that the spider web is a flower. However, bees are not completely defenseless. This is because as they recognize ultraviolet light, they can easily see the polarized light around the sun. Therefore, they can find their way back home by looking at the sun even on a cloudy day. If a bee that gets very close to a spider web recognizes this without getting caught, it can find its way back home by looking at the polarized light.

THE BIG BANG THEORY

Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, and We separated them and made from water every living thing? Then will they not believe? ( Surat al- Anby 21:30)

Hubbles Law For thousands of years, astronomers wrestled with basic questions concerning the universe. Until the early 1920s, it was believed that the universe had always been in existence; also, that the size of the universe was fixed and not changing. However, in 1912, the American astronomer, Vesto Slipher, made a discovery that would soon change astronomers beliefs about the universe. Slipher, noticed that the galaxies were moving away from earth at huge velocities. These observations provided the first evidence supporting the expanding-universe theory.

In 1916, Albert Einstein formulated his General Theory of Relativity that indicated that the universe must be either expanding or contracting. Confirmation of the expanding-universe theory finally came in 1929 in the hands of the well known American astronomer Edwin Hubble. By observing redshifts(When the light an object emits is displaced toward the red end of the spectrum) in the light wavelengths emitted by galaxies, Hubble found that galaxies were not fixed in their position; instead, they were actually moving away from us with speeds proportional to their distance from earth (Hubble's Law). The only explanation for this observation was that the universe had to be expanding. Hubbles discovery is regarded as one of the greatest in the history of astronomy. In 1929, he published the velocity-time relation which is the basis of modern cosmology. In the years to come, with further observations, the expanding-universe theory was accepted by scientists and astronomers alike.

Yet, astonishingly well before telescopes were even invented and well before Hubble published his Law, Prophet Muhammad used to recite a verse of the Quran to his companions that ultimately stated that the universe is expanding. And the heaven We created with might, and indeed We are (its) expander. (Quran 51:47) At the time of the revelation of the Quran, the word space was not known, and people used the word heaven to refer to what lies above the Earth. In the above verse, the word heaven is referring to space and the known universe. The verse points out that space, and thus the universe, happens to be expanding, just as Hubbles Law states. That the Quran mentioned such a fact centuries before the invention of the first telescope, at a time when there was primitive knowledge in science, is considered remarkable. This is more so considering that, like many people in his time, Prophet Muhammad happened to be illiterate and simply could not have been aware of such facts by himself. Could it be that he had truly received divine revelation from the Creator and Originator of the universe?

The Big Bang Theory Soon after Hubble published his theory, he went on to discover that not only were galaxies moving away from the Earth, but were also moving away from one another. This meant that the universe happened to be expanding in every direction, in the same way a balloon expands when filled with air. Hubbles new findings placed the foundations for the Big Bang theory. The Big Bang theory states that around 12-15 billion years ago the universe came into existence from one single extremely hot and dense point, and that something triggered the explosion of this point that brought about the beginning of the universe. The universe, since then, has been expanding from this single point. Later, in 1965, radio astronomers Arno Penzias and Robert Wilson made a Noble Prize winning discovery that confirmed the Bing Bang theory. Prior to their discovery, the theory implied that if the single point from which the universe came into existence was initially extremely hot, then remnants of this heat should be found. This remnant heat is exactly what Penzias and Wilson found. In 1965, Penzias and Wilson discovered a 2.725 degree Kelvin Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation (CMB) that spreads through the universe. Thus, it was understood that the radiation found was a remnant of the initial stages of the Big Bang. Presently, the Big Bang theory is accepted by the vast majority of scientists and astronomers.

It is mentioned in the Quran: He (God) is the Originator of the heavens and the earth (Quran 6:101) Is not He who created the heavens and the earth Able to create the likes of them? Yes; and He is the Knowing Creator. His command is only when He intends a thing that He says to it, Be, and it is. (Quran 36:81-82) The above verses prove that the universe had a beginning, that God was behind its creation, and all that God needs to do inorder to create is to say Be, and it is. Could this be an explanation as to what triggered off the explosion that brought about the beginning of the universe?

The Quran also mentions: Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, then We separated them, and made from water every living thing? Then will they not believe? (Quran 21:30) Muslim scholars who have explained the previous verse mention that the heavens and earth were once one, and then God caused them to separate and form into the seven heavens and Earth. Yet, due to the limitations of science and technology at the time of the revelation of the Quran (and for centuries to follow), no scholar was able to give much detail about how exactly the heavens and earth were created. What the scholars could explain was the precise meaning of each word in Arabic in the verse, as well as the overall meaning of the verse. In the previous verse, the Arabic words ratq and fataq are used. The word ratqcan be translated into entity sewn to joined together or closed up. The meaning of these translations all circulate around something that is mixed and that has a separate and distinct existence. The verb fataq is translated into We unstitched We clove them asunder We separated or We have opened them. These meanings imply that something comes into being by an action of splitting or tearing apart. The sprouting of a seed from the soil is a good example of a similar illustration of the meaning of the verb fataq. With the introduction of the Big Bang theory, it soon became clear to Muslim scholars that the details mentioned with regards to the theory go identically hand in hand with the description of the creation of the universe in verse 30 of chapter 21 of the Quran. The theory states that all the matter in the universe came into existence from one single extremely hot and dense point; that exploded and brought about the beginning of the universe, matches what is mentioned in the verse that the heaven and Earth (thus the universe) where once joined together, and then split apart. Once again, the only possible explanation is that Prophet Muhammad had truly received divine revelation from God, The Creator and Originator of the universe.

THE HEAVEN(SKY), THE STAR AND THE UNIVERSE

He Who created the seven heavens one above another: no want of proportion will you see in the Creation of (Allah) Most Gracious. So turn your vision again: see you any flaw? Again turn your vision a second time: (your) vision will come back to you dull and discomfited, in a state worn out. And We have,(from of old), adorned the lowest heaven with Lamps, and We have made such (Lamps)(as) missiles to drive away the Evil Ones, and have prepared for them the Penalty of the Blazing Fire. [Surah Al-Mulk:3-5] From the above verses, Allah had stated that we humans could not see any flaw in His creation of the skies above us even though we try our best to do so. In verse 3 of the surah, Allah said that He created the heavens by seven layers on top of each other while in verse 5 Allah said that the first layer of the heaven are filled by lamps use to drive away the devil. If we compare verse 3 and 5, clearly the lowest heaven in this context refers to the Universe. There are people understand that this 7 heaven refers to the 7 atmospheric layers of the earth. Even though this is correct that our atmosphere consist of 7 layers, we should carefully understand this verse clearly is telling us about a totally different world beyond our undiscovered and mysteriously endless Universe. In other word this verse is telling us about a universe beyond our universe. This can be supported by the occurrence of the Mikraj of our Prophet where at that time he could meet people and witness many things. In the dictionary, a missile means an object or weapon for throwing, hurling, or shooting, as a stone, bullet, or arrow. Now, a shooting star is not actually a star that move or being thrown out. Thus it has nothing to do with a star because a shooting star is actually caused by meteors or dust and debris left by comets. However this is actually not true. Scientist and astronomers today agree that all the elements that existed in the universe exist from a single element that is hydrogen. Now, where could we find lots of hydrogen atoms in the universe? The answer is the star. The enormous luminous energy of the stars comes from nuclear fusion processes in their centers. Depending upon the age and mass of a star, the energy may come from proton-proton fusion, helium fusion, or the carbon cycle. For brief periods near the end of the luminous lifetime of stars, heavier elements up to iron may fuse, but since the iron group is at the peak of the binding energy curve, the fusion of elements more massive than iron would soak up energy rather than deliver it. While the iron group is the upper limit in terms of energy yield by fusion, heavier elements are created in the stars by another class of nuclear reactions. This nuclear synthesis of elements heavier than iron uses energy rather than supplies it.

From the above statements, it says that all the elements that builds up everything today comes from the dying of star. So as the Meteors and comets that Allah use as a missile to hit devils is also a part of the star. So a shooting star is actually a dead star that have undergone various process for billions of years to become a meteor. A meteor is just a stone floating across the entire universe. We could find such stone exist on the earth but maybe different in condition of the elements just like how we would find various types of stones lying on the earth. During the pilgrimage in the ZulHijjah, we are required to throw stones on 3 different statues as a symbolic of the stoning of the satan. Indeed what the Quran had stated is truly a divine miracle.

BASIC REQUIREMENT OF LIFE

Speaking of meteors and collision, theres one very interesting verse in the Quran that says about iron in surah Al-Hadeed(57:25) And We also sent down iron in which there lies great force and which has many uses for mankind From the scientific viewpoint, the Earth would have had to form about 4.54 billion years since the earliest material in the solar system is dated back to about this time period. It is scientifically accepted that the solar system including the earth was the result of a solar nebula that collapsed from the formation of the sun. The dust and gas from the solar nebula took about 10-20 million years to form into the earth starting with the molten centre of the Earth which cooled down to form a crust that allowed water to begin to accumulate. The moon, the main satellite of the Earth is believed to have formed about 4.5 billion years ago when an object that roughly was the size of Mars collided with the Earth causing a significant blow to the Earth. It is theorized that some of the mass became Earth and the remaining chunk begin to orbit the Earth in what is now known as the moon.

The object that hit the earth long time ago, could have bring along with them iron. So in the Quran which states that The word anzalna, translated as "sent down" and used for iron in the verse, could be thought of having a metaphorical meaning to explain that iron has been given to benefit people. But, when we take into consideration the literal meaning of the word, which is, "being physically sent down from the sky, as this word usage had not been employed in the Quran except literally, like the descending of the rain or revelation, we realize that this verse implies a very significant scientific miracle. Because, modern astronomical findings have disclosed that the iron found in our world has come from giant stars in outer space just like the meteors that we have mentioned in the past sign of the miracles of the Quran. Since ancient times, human have studied about the skies more than anything else. It is not strange that Allah has ordered us to look into the sky as a tool to show that, the world exist in perfect balance and there is someone controlling it and doesnt exist on its own like some western civilize believe in. The Egyptian at the time of Prophet Musa, have studied the Zodiacal Signs and made calendars and even could predict the weather at their time. They have also studied about the famous Sirius Star which is the brightest star in the night sky that is even visible in todays time. At the time of our Prophet, the Arabs named this star Syira. Interestingly, this star named Syira was mentioned in the Quran in surah [53] Al-Najm verse 49. It is worth noting that, the title of the surah is Star. That He is the Lord of Sirius(the Mighty Star) By the help of modern telescopes, scientist have studied this star and founded that the star is around 3 times bigger than our sun and it takes about 8.6 light years to reach it. Even though 8.6 light years away and around 3 times larger than our sun, its magnitude of brightness is able to reach -1.5. The only star able to achieve a magnitude of negative 1 even though its distance is further away than the nearest star to us that is around 4.34 light years away. Allah is giving us a good example that we can see in this star. A massive yet beautiful star like the Sirius also witness and confess to the pagan Arabs and also to us that Allah is its Lord. Thus the pagan Arabs at the time of the Prophet that believe Sirius is actually a god to them is surely an act of foolishness and ignorance. Most importantly, we should not let any other worldly matters as god.

And was at a distance of but two bow-lengths or (even) nearer;[53:9] Other miraculous thing about this star is that, it is not actually a single star but a twin star. Scientists discovered that it was actually a double star unlike our sun a unary star system. Sirius is actually a set of two stars, known as Sirius A and Sirius B. The larger of these is Sirius A which is mentioned in the Quran and also the closer to the Earth and the brightest star that can be seen with the naked eye. Sirius B, however, cannot be seen without a telescope. The Sirius double stars orbit in ellipses about one another while our sun is a circle shape. The orbital period of Sirius A & B about their common centre of gravity is 49.9 years. This scientific data is today accepted with one accord by the departments of astronomy at Harvard, Ottawa and Leicester Universities. The description in Surat an-Najm 9 may also describe how these two stars approach

one another in their orbits. (Allah knows best.) This scientific fact, that nobody could have known at the time of the revelation of the Qur'an, once again proves that the Qur'an is the Word of Almighty Allah. In this part we have discuss briefly about the star. How it operates by Allahs command and they do not transgress Surah 55, Ayah 5-7 "The sun and the moon follow courses (exactly) computed; And the star and the trees - both (alike) bow in adoration. And the Firmament has He raised high, and He has set up the Balance (of Justice)"

THE CREATION OF MEN

Human body is the most complicated system in the world. There is nothing in the world that can challenged the creation of men by Allah, even nowadays people are tend to make human clone but they still could not make it perfectly as human being. Each organ in human body is well organized. How and when did cells which have such various functions come into being. We could not even know it if we did not learn sciences but in 1400 years ago the story on how men have being created was already stated in the Quran. The creation of men in the world is possible with the perfect working of reproductive system. The bodies of men and women are quite different in term of the reproductive system. In order for the miracle of human creation to happen, it is actually begin many years earlier. With the Allahs power, He created and placed us in our mothers womb before we born. As the mentioned in the Quran, surah Al-Imran verses 6:

(It is He who forms you in the wombs however He wills. There is no deity except Him, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.)

THE STAGES OF THE CREATION OF MEN

Do we know how we were created? Most of us know that we were created when we first learned about biology but do we know that Allah have mentioned about this in His holy Quran along time ago. In surah Al-Mukminun Allah have mentioned the stages on how men were created.

(And certainly did We create man from an extract of clay.)

(Then We placed him as a sperm-drop in a firm lodging.)

From this ayah men were created from a sperm. Of the 300 million sperm cells that set out on the road together, only the strongest one thousand will succeed in reaching the egg. Out of these only one single sperm will win the race and fertilise the egg. Before entering this race, the sperm first set out on a long journey within the male reproductive organs. One of the noticeable characteristics of the testes is that they are outside the body. Because of this special design according to which God created the male body, the sperm have a specially prepared place for their production.

(Then We made the sperm-drop into a clinging clot, and We made the clot into a lump [of flesh], and We made [from] the lump, bones, and We covered the bones with flesh; then We developed him into another creation. So blessed is Allah , the best of creators.)

According to this ayah, the stages of the creation of men start with a nutfah, alaqah, mudghah, lahm and lastly ruh. 1) NUTFAH: sperm from male reproductive system. 2) ALAQAH: this is the stage where the sperm is fertilize with the egg and will enter the uterus and attach to the placenta and form blood clotting. 3) MUDGHAH: it is a stage when it becomes flesh. During this stage the formation of brain, nerves, ears and others organ take places. The respiratory system of the embryo is also formed. The heart of the embryo start to function and the blood will flow to the heart to supply oxygen and enough food for the foetus. 4) LAHM: this is the stage where the formation bone is preceding the formation of other muscle. When the formation of bone is completed, the muscles will wrap over the bones. After the three month, all bones have completely formed and now it is called foetus. 5) RUH: this is the stage where the ruh is blown to the foetus. During the nine months in the mothers womb, growth continues perfectly. As we think back, we are actually a drop of fluid and gradually turns into human being. The only power that creates a complete human being froam what was at just a drop of fluid is that of Almighty God, the Lord of the universe. This is how the Quran tells how Allah created human beings.

CONCLUSION
Alhamdulillah, that today, we have been given by Allah two most important thing in this life, that is Islam and Iman. Without this two, all the good things that happen in this life is nothing but a great burden later in life. We should think for a while that all the sign(miracle) that we have witness, really gives an effect to our faith or not. If not, we should do our best to make the Quran something more meaningful to us not just a book we read, but a book that could guide us, and make it a reference to problem that we face in life. It was narrated that Buraydah (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say: The Quraan will meet its companion on the Day of Resurrection when his grave is opened for him, in the form of a pale man. It will say to him, Do you recognize me? He will say: I do not recognize you. It will say: I am your companion the Quraan, who kept you thirsty on hot days and kept you awake at night. Every merchant benefits from his business and today you will benefit from your good deeds. He will be given dominion in his right hand and eternity in his left, and there will be placed on his head a crown of dignity, and his parents will be clothed with priceless garments the like of which have never been seen in this world. They will say: Why have we been clothed with this? It will be said: Because your son used to recite Quraan. Then it will be said to him: Recite and ascend in the degrees of Paradise, and he will continue to ascend so long as he recites, either at a fast pace or a slow pace . Narrated by Ahmad in al-Musnad (394) and Ibn Maajah in al-Sunan (3781); classed as hasan by al-Busayri in al-Zawaaid and by al-Albaani in al-Silsilah al-Saheehah (2829). Even though many verses in the Quran are easy to understand, yet there are still some which are hard to interpre. However it is important that, we must keep our faith strong, because like some people of the past like people during Rasulullah SAW believe in what had the quran revealed to them even though many of it couldnt be proven during their time. We should be grateful that with the advance in science in todays world, the Quran are becoming more clearer and its miraculous content have been approve by many. In the Quran, Allah tells us many things about the occurrences during the day of Akhirah. This miraculous events that will happen not in this life will never be proven in this world. From many miraculous signs that we see today that we have never imagine could have been said in the Quran should give us a clearer understanding to what will happen in the future will also be true. On the Day when We will say to Hell: Are you filled? It will say, Are there any more (to come)? (Quran 50:30)

The verse above is just 1 out of many story that Allah is telling to us so that we increase our faith towards Him. Allah is telling us that Hell will house all the unbelievers and sinners from the beginning of time and there will still be room for more. Lets look at more what Allah have to say about hell. Allah speaks of seven Gates of Hell in the Quran: And surely, Hell is the promised place for them all. It has seven gates, for each of these gates is a class of sinners assigned. (Quran 15:43-44) Each gate has an allotted share of the damned who will enter through it. Each will enter according to his deeds and assigned a level of Hell accordingly. When the unbelievers are brought to Hell, its gates will open, they will enter it, and stay in it forever: And those who disbelieved will be driven to Hell in groups until, when they reach it, its gates are opened and its keepers will say, Did there not come to you messengers from yourselves, reciting to you the verses of your Lord and warning you of the meeting of this Day of yours? They will say, Yes, but the word (meaning the decree) of punishment has come into effect upon the disbelievers. (Quran 35:71) They will be told after admission: Enter the gates of Hell to abide eternally therein, and wretched is the residence of the arrogant. (Quran 39:72) The gates will be shut and there will be no hope of escape as God says: But those who reject Our signs, they are the companions of the left hand. On them will be Fire vaulted over (meaning the gates will be locked).[7] (Quran 90:19-20) Lastly we would like to share a mathematical expression. x #=. is the hereafter and # is this world. You ignore the hereafter even though you have everything that you have in this world living for thousands of years, still you are in great loss! Found in: 110 Ahadith Qudsi (Sacred Hadith) Hadith no: 37 Narrated: Anas that Allah's Messenger (PBUH) said: One of the most miserable people in the world will be brought from among the people of Paradise. Allah will say (to the angels): Dip him once in Paradise. So they will dip him once in it. Then Allah (SWT) will ask him: Did you ever face any distress or a thing you hate. He would say: No, by Your Glory! Never did I face anything unpleasant. Then one of the most affluent people of the world will be brought from Hell. Allah will command (the angels:) Dip him once in it. Then He will ask him: 0 son of Adam! Did you ever enjoy any comfort? (that is, a dip in Hell can make one forget the meaning of comfort). (This Hadith is sound and reported in Musnad Ahmad).
