POST A COMMENT

UPDATE: Boehner Spokesman Kevin Smith responds"The Steering Committee makes decisions based on a range of factors."
House Speaker John Boehner and GOP leadership have removed several conservative House members from their respective powerful committee positions, Breitbart News has learned. Effective next Congress, leadership pulled Kansas Republican Rep. Tim Huelskamp, Michigan Republican Rep. Justin Amash and Arizona Republican Rep. David Schweikert off committees from which they could exert conservative pressure on fiscal matters. Amash and Huelskamp were pulled from the Budget Committee and Schweikert from the Financial Services Committee. Huelskamp, a freshman elected during the 2010 tea party wave, thinks the leadership move to pull him from the powerful committee is revenge for him standing up for conservatism. It is little wonder why Congress has a 16 percent approval rating: Americans send principled representatives to change Washington and get punished in return, Huelskamp said in a Monday night statement. The GOP leadership might think they have silenced conservatives, but removing me and others from key committees only confirms our conservative convictions. This is clearly a vindictive move, and a sure sign that the GOP Establishment cannot handle disagreement." Earlier on Monday in an interview with Breitbart News (http://www.breitbart.com /Big-Government/2012/12/03/I-meant-it-Huelskamp-rallies-House-Republicans-

to-reaffirm-their-pledges-not-to-raise-taxes), Huelskamp again reaffirmed his support for the Americans for Tax Reform (ATR) anti-tax pledge. Hes encouraging his colleagues in the House to come out publicly against potential tax increases and asking citizens across the country to help. Huelskamp thinks his most recent challenge to his GOP colleagues asking them to reaffirm their pledges is hardly the only conservative thing hes done to spark leadership retaliation. In his Monday night statement (http://huelskamp.house.gov /index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=4247:huelskamp-statemetnon-committee-assignments&catid=48:press-releases), he listed out a number of other conservative things hes done that he thinks caused leadership to turn their fire on him. "This morning Congressman Schweikert learned there was a price to be paid for voting based on principle, said Schweikert spokeswoman Rachel Semmel. "That price was the removal from the House Financial Services Committee. We are obviously disappointed that Leadership chose to take this course, but Rep. Schweikert remains committed to fighting for the conservative principles that brought him here." FreedomWorks president Matt Kibbe bashed the move, too, saying in a statement that [t]his is a clear attempt on the part of Republican leadership to punish those in Washington who vote the way they promised their constituents they would on principle instead of mindlessly rubber-stamping trillion dollar deficits and the bankrupting of America. This is establishment thinking, circling the wagons around yes-men and punishing anyone that dares to take a stand for good public policy. Spokespersons for Amash and Schweikert didnt immediately respond to Breitbart News request for comment. A spokesperson for Boehner didnt either.

To those who have been given much, much will be required. May he roast in hell for the way he has sold this great nation down the drain. He, Can't-or, and Issa have squandered the victory of 2010, earned by the sweat and work of the very conservatives he so despises, and without which he and the spineless GOP establishment would have NO VICTORY. It's time for a 3rd party now, and I say this as a 47-year Pubbie registrant... But no more. The GOP is just as complicit as the Dims in their sellout of this country, but they have the greater accountability, because THEY KNOW BETTER. As I said, may he roast.

These professional polititions like boenner are so out of touch with reality, and the issuses that really matter to conservative republicans, its like they live in another world, they will sometimes critisize the U.N., but when is the last time you ever heard one say 'lets get the U.N. off our soil and the U.S. out of the U.N....Nope never happens..When is the last time you ever heard any of them say '' not a dime of aid to any foriegn country until we can pay our own bills?...nope never happens when is the last time you heard one of them say we are not getting involved in any foriegn intangelments unless it is a direct threat to our national security? nope you will never hear it , when is the last time you heard one of them say we should get rid of the Federal income tax?...nope won't ever hear that either, their too addicted to spending. When is the last time you heard any of them say that we shouldn't be going around the world trying to spread democracy (or what ever it is we are trying to spread) at the expense of the American tax payer? have you ever heard any of them say that we shouldn't be militarizing our local police forces ? When is the last time you heard one say that maybe the war on drugs isn't working out so good, maybe we should try something else?...Nope won't hear it.. Orin Hatch, Lindsey Grahmm cracker, John Mcain its all the same.

In 2014, conservatives candidates need to win and overwhelm these frickin' RINOS. RINO boehner and the other dumb RINOS need a boot in the rear end. Sick and tired of these idiots ignoring the WILL of the PEOPLE by trying to force the conservative representatives to "sit down and shut up." When are these haughty nitwits gonna learn behaving like a Dim doesn't work. It's a losing proposition. They're traitors and spineless wusses of the party as far as I'm concerned. We need fresh blood that we have in our newly elected constitutional conservative representatives.

Everybody who cares about this country needs to do TWO things over the next 4 weeks or so. First, you need to be on the phone to your congressman's DC office (get the numbers at www.house.gov) and demand that they oppose ANY tax increases, demand that they oppose ANY increase to the debt ceiling, and demand that no more money be spent on continuing resolutions. Second, buy ammo, lots of ammo !!!

Okay, you central Oklahoma folks. Remember when James Lankford was sworn in to the House two years ago - in an interview shortly afterwards, he made it very clear he intended to toe the mark for Speaker Boehner. He held true to his promise. Now he has been given two more years. His payoff for toeing the mark for two years is his recent appointment as Republican Policy Committee Chairman. Any questions?

Surprize...not. The GOP Leader(less)ship hates Conservatives. The GOP take Conservatives' votes for granted. The GOP works actively against any and all real Conservative Candidates. Boehner had told the 2010 class to sit down and shut up. This is pure hate for the GOP Conservative Base. Can any Conservative not say its time for a third Party? At least the GOP would have to acknowledge the Conservatives exist. No Conservative should give a dime to these GOP haters of Conservative principles. If the Conservatives, TP, and Libertarians would join forces, we would be a force the GOP could no longer ignore.

The DNC thanks you. Divide and conquer. Obama's played you well. Wise up and realize Reagan's rule that someone who agrees with you %80 isn't your %20 enemy. That's why Reagan was so successful. He realized that successive approximations towards a goal really works. How the he** do you think liberals have taken over whole sectors: education, media, government employees? We need to start now and advance when we can. Stay and protect our territory when necessary and try to avoid retreats. Stop playing a zero sum game. If some 3mil Republicans/conservatives had bothered to make the effort to vote we would have won. Thanks, purists. You stick to your "principles" but remember you are fighting a side that has none which puts you at a distinct disadvantage.

It is often necessary to surgically remove a disease to make the body whole. The Democrat is a flawed, demented, selfish body, but essentially without disease and without honor. The Republican body was once full of honor and integrity and was bound in freedom. It is now diseased which makes it appear as a weak version of the stronger evil Democrat. It needs to be put under the knife, it will become weaker, and then it will grow strong and healthy once again.
