A theater artist for musical stage plays at the Cultural
Life in the fast lane can be so rough. Competition is tough and the
stakes are high. So tough that even a small edge means a lot. They
may not be popular compared to their contemporaries but for “OUT
OF THE BOX”, they find themselves deserving in many ways.
These are what the group probably has as they keep abreast of the
changing times by burrowing something from their past, present
experiences and their projections of the future tasks coming their way
specifically in terms of entertainment.
Their music is influenced by the hits mostly of today’s generation,
though they could also play hits from the past. Meaning, the group is
changing their music and upgrading them whenever time allowed.
But what is best from this group is that they can fill into the songs
their own rendition and still get the message across. While enjoying
the night and partying on, with their unique sound and the good
rapport among members, these guys can make people get on their
feet. Indeed, they may be the next one—OUT OF THE BOX, the
acoustic group to watch out for.
Center of the Philippines (CCP), directed by Councilor Luciano
“Lou” M. Veloso—comedy actor, movie talent of Star Cinema and
TV talent of ABS-CBN. This chick has a wonderful stage presence
and a beautiful singing voice. A cool chic through and through!
Whatever genre of music the band would play, from ballads to
belting out rock, she’ll give it her all every time.
DARYL is a remarkable bass player and has played in numerous
bands over the years. His individual style adds a new dimension to
the music and those regular listeners will appreciate that he has taken
each song and made it his own. His playing is technically faultless,
combined with his laid back style makes him the envy of other
bassists. Also, Daryl is a brilliant vocalist!
NATHAN has a wide range of influences that shines through his
spectacular playing. He is a cross section of both rhythm and lead,
which is truly incredible. Nathan treats his acoustic guitar with
more love and affection than a woman. He is a passionate and a
focused musician but this is no excuse for his partying all night
whenever he can.
JHENG ’s drumming is sensational, so too are his vocals. Eats,
sleeps and breathes drumming, an R&B lover, and provides a true
hallmark in the band’s live performance. His exuberance on the box
is only controlled by the fact that he has to sit down to perform! He
is the master in his craft.
