FRUIT Apples
The Apple season continues with lower than average supplies. Normal supplies have a 50/50 split between larger (88ct) and smaller (113ct). This year the split is 80% larger, 20% smaller. MX Markets are stable with good supplies coming out of Mexico. Markets on larger fruit are slightly higher. Ecuador, Central The supply has stabilized in the various growing regions. America, Guatemala, Color and quality are good. Panama MX Markets remain stable with good quality arriving from Mexico. Argentina, MX Markets have risen as production slows down and demand increases. Quality remains good. MX, CA Good supplies and quality. CA California production has declined as we move closer to the end of Western production. Florida and Mexico are expected soon. We will be experiencing extremely limited supplies with smaller fruit. Inclement Western weather has slowed what little product is available. Quality is fair.
