TODAY’S FOCUS – Fourth Sunday in
Ordinary Time : Not all people are called
to be a Moses or a Paul, but each of us
can speak out against the injustices in our
society. We can live the teachings of
Jesus in our families and in the
workplace. We can be the messenger of
God’s love and forgiveness to someone
whom no one else can reach. Such service
can bring us great joy.

The Welcoming committee along
with the Knights of Columbus is
sponsoring a “new member
breakfast” on February 15, 2009
after the 9am Mass. New
members and existing members of
our parish are invited to enjoy the
Knights of Columbus breakfast in

friends. We hope this to be a big

pressure, too! In fact, people of any

yours checked? Even if it’s normal,
it’s good to know what your reading
is. The Health & Wellness Ministry

of Pittsburg is now located at St.
Pius X Newman Center, 301B E.
Cleveland (entry is on the east
side) of the Center 231-7944.
Many of you have been very
good about saving aluminum
cans for them. They are very
appreciative because it does
provide some income and also
helps with recycling. We ask that
you bring your aluminum cans to
the elementary school dumpster
area on the north side of the
school. Put them inside the west
iron gates on the ground. They
will be picked up periodically.
