2. PressandholdtheWPSbuttonontheextenderfor2seconds,untilthe WPSLED( )startsflashing.

AfteryouhaveconnectedtheextendertotheexistingWiFinetworkand confirmeditworks,youcanmovethisextendertoanotherlocationfor optimalWiFiextension.Tomovetheextender,turnoffthedeviceand unplugitfromitssocket.TheextenderwillremembertheWiFinetworkit isassignedto.Movetheextendertoitsnewlocationandplugitin,then turnthedeviceonagain.Theextenderwillgothroughitsinitialization processafterbeingturnedon.Youwillbeunabletoconnecttothe extenderwhileitisinitializing.WhenthegreenWiFiLED( )begins flashingirregularlyandtheorangeSignalStrengthLED( )activates,the extenderisreadyforuse. Note:IftheWiFinetworkyouwishtoconnectto doesnotappear,clickRefreshtodetectagainor trytomovetheextenderclosertotherootwireless accesspoint. 7. InputthepasswordoftheexistingWiFinetworkintheKeyfieldandclick Nexttocontinue.TheextendermusthavethesameWiFipasswordas therootwirelessaccesspoint.

Note:Theextenderwillbeunabletoconnecttothe WiFinetworkifyouenterthewrongpassword.If youdonotknowyourWiFipassword,youmayfind itviayourWiFiroutersconfiguration,orconsult thenetworkadministratorwhosetuptheWiFi network. 8. Bydefault,theextendersSSIDistherootaccesspointsSSIDplusthelast sixcharactersoftheextendersaccesskey.Youcanchangetheextenders SSIDifyouwant.ClickNexttocompletethesetup. 9. TheWiFiextenderwilltesttheconnectionbetweenthedeviceandthe rootwirelessaccesspoint.Iftheconnectionissuccessful,themessage ConnectionTestSuccessfullywillappearonscreen.ClickNexttosave settings. Iftheconnectionfailed,themessageConnectionTestFailedwillappear onscreen.ClickBACKtorestartthesetupprocess. 10. Theextenderwillshowabriefsummaryofthenameoftherootwireless accesspoint,thenameoftheextender,andthesecuritytypeused.Click APPLYtocontinue,orclickBACKtorestartthesetupprocess.

11. AfteryouclickAPPLYtheextenderwillrestartandsaveitssettings.You willseeafinalcongratulationspage.Yourcomputerwillbedisconnected fromtheextenderatthistime.Toreconnecttotheextender,selectitsSSID fromyourlistofWiFinetworks.

12. YoumaytesttheconnectivityoftheWiFiextenderbyconnectingtoit (selectitsSSIDfromyourlistofwirelessnetworks,nottheSSIDofyour rootWiFiaccesspoint)andattemptingtoopenawebpagewithyourweb browser. 13. AfteryouhaveconnectedtheextendertotheexistingWiFinetworkand confirmeditworks,youcanmovethisextendertoanotherlocationfor optimalWiFiextension.Tomovetheextender,turnoffthedeviceand unplugitfromitssocket.TheextenderwillremembertheWiFinetworkit isassignedto.Movetheextendertoitsnewlocationandplugitin,then turnthedeviceonagain.Theextenderwillgothroughitsinitialization processafterbeingturnedon.Youwillbeunabletoconnecttothe extenderwhileitisinitializing.WhenthegreenWiFiLED( )begins flashingirregularlyandtheorangeSignalStrengthLED( )activates,the extenderisreadyforuse. Forbestresults,installtheextenderatalocationwheretheSignalStrength LED( )remainsonwithoutblinking.Thisindicatesitisreceivingastrong signalfromtherootwirelessaccesspoint.
