However, for predicting the outcome of Gujarat elections I am not taking help of horoscope of Narendra Modi, but a time tested tool of Astrology i.e. Horoscope prepared at the time Solar Transit, popularly called in India as Sankranti or also called Solar Ingress Horoscope. As per schedule declared by Election Commission, Polls in Gujarat have taken place in two phases: First phase on December 13, 2012 and second phase on December 17, 2012. However, the counting will take place on December 20, 2012. Since, I am more concerned about the outcome; we are taking solar transit relevant to December 20, 2012. So here is the horoscope prepared for the moment of Solar Transit from Scorpio to Sagittarius on December 15, 2012. The place has been taken as Gandhinagar, capital of Gujarat, due to obvious reasons.

The lovers of Astrology, especially who have interest in Mundane branch of astrology, know it very well that the sitting Government as well head of state is seen from Tenth House, Tenth Lord combined with Lagna. Opposition Party is seen from fourth House and Fourth Lord. In the Solar Transit horoscope under analysis, Mars is Tenth Lord in the sixth house (house of competition and struggle) of the horoscope, but it is ninth from tenth house in its friend house, a favorable position. On the other hand, the Venus will continue to tread Scorpio, indicating no positive development for opposition parties.
