1. Eddy Current Magnetic Levitation

The main emphasis is given to magnetic levitation which is a hybrid technology involving zero friction. I completed this project under the guidance of Electrical & Electronics Engineering Department faculty in 2011. 2. PLL application to FACTS The Project mainly emphasizes on control of reactive power in power system network using Phase Locked Loop Technique. I completed this project under the guidance of K.Lakshya Reddy (Asst. Professor, EEE Dept.,) in 2012. TRAINING DETAILS Attended workshop on Electrical & Electronics Laboratory Equipment Maintenance and Service organized by department of systems design in Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. Undertook a short-term project at Machkund Hydro Power Plant, Orissa. Undertook a short-term project at 132/33 KV Step-down Substation, Gopalapatnam, Visakhapatnam. Undertook a short-term project at Thermal Power Plant in RINL, Visakhapatnam.

Received an award from Sri M.C.Bhandare, Governor of Orissa for Best Poster Presentation on the topic Eddy Current Magnetic Levitation in Engineering Sciences Division at 99th Indian Science Congress Association meeting held at Bhubaneswar in January, 2012. Appreciated by Sri Soumya Mishra (District Inspector General, Visakhapatnam) for my performance at 99th Indian Science Congress Association meeting in 2012. Received an award from Sri Lav Agarwal (District Collector, Visakhapatnam) for Best Paper Presentation at Resonance- A Two Day National Level Event organized by Avanthi Group of Colleges in 2012. Received an award for Best Poster Presentation at UTKARSHA-2K12, an event organized by department of ECE, VITS College. Awarded with First Prize for my live project at ORBIT-2k12, one day national event organized by EWB GIITS Chapter. Awarded with the title The Best Student of Electrical Department Student organizing secretary for GITS 2K11-A Two Day National Level Technical event conducted by Departments of EEE and ECE at Gonna Institute of Information Technology & Sciences.
