All are Welcome First Friday Adoration January 4, 2013


On Friday, January 4th, Adoration will be held in the church starting after the 12:10 PM Mass. Why not take this opportunity to spend some time with Jesus and thank Him for all the blessings He continues to give all of us? This is a wonderful opportunity to come with a family member or a friend to pray, quietly say the rosary, or read. Thank you for signing the attendance book which is placed on the table at the entrance of the church closest to the rectory.

Tri-Parish Cornerstone
Save the date!! All ladies and men who have attended a Cornerstone Retreat or gathering sponsored by Cornerstone at Our Lady of Peace, are invited to attend a social gathering on Friday evening, January 11, 2013, at 7:30 PM in the Parish Hall at Our Lady of Peace. Appetizers and dessert, wine and soft drinks, will be provided. We will be seeking your input regarding the 2013 Cornerstone year. Join us for a fun evening after the Christmas and New Years holidays have concluded.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
Are you a baptized Catholic who never received the sacraments of first Eucharist and/or Confirmation? Are you a baptized non-Catholic Christian? Were you never baptized? Union Catholic High School Scholarship Exam


The Union Catholic High School Scholarship Exam for he Class of 2017 will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. and Sunday, January 6, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. There is no make up exam. Seton Hall Prep, grades 9 - 12 in West Orange is offering its final entrance exam on Saturday, January 5, 2012. Scholarships and financial aid are still available.
