While SI 138/95 is construction regulations and may not be considered directly applicable, paragraph 69 in relation to guard rails is relevant to hydraulic platform cages and to RTA platforms whose use is becoming more common. Advice in paragraphs 70-75 in relation to ladders is considered of some relevance.
