Stephanies tip of the month: Despite what you may have heard in the past, current studies show that the average American only gains about 1 pound during the holiday season. The problem is that then they never lose that 1 pound so they add up over the years. To avoid a 1 pound weight gain during the holiday you only need to burn an additional 55 calories a day, which is equivalent to an easy 15 minute walk.
