Punto Clave

MUSCLE GROUP FOR RESISTANCE TRAINING (Modified from Hatfield, Power a Scientific approach, 1989 p195)
Lower back
Posterior shoulder
Abdomen
Lower body

To remember
1. There are different strength training zones or areas that lead to different training outcomes. 2. The goal of the resistance training program should be determined by the specific characteristic of the subject and season/training period. 3. To increase performance in athletes, a periodized resistance training should be integrated with other more specific tasks to optimize performance and reduce the incidence and severity of sports related injury.
