INTRODUCTION

The project that I have attempted is and temperature dependent fan. Its main objective is to lower the power consumption and comfort. When applied in practical life it will help to save a great deal of electricity and also maintain the room at its original temperature to avoid discomfort. Its main objective is to practically remove the usage of manual regulators and install ones that are temperature dependent or light dependent. The temperature dependent can be produced using Thermistors which are basically temperature dependent resistor. The light dependent ones can be made using Light dependent resistor whose applications are endless. Once sensitivity of the components adjusted practically everything in this world will be automatic. When we enter our house switch on the fan it can transition from the outside temperature to a cooler temperature to avoid discomfort, or a bulb can transition from the brightness of the environment to a higher or lower temperature, or when sleeping the fan can adjust from a faster speed to a slower speed in the morning so that the persons body can easily adjust to the environments temperature and stay in a pleasant mood the rest of the day. PRINCIPLE USED
The principle used in this is of NTC that is Negative Temperature Coefcient. It means that if the surrounding temperature decreases the resistance of it increases. With this the voltage to the fan is varied and it automatically regulates itself based on the temperature of surrounding.

CIRCUIT WORKING
The thermistor gives the output but a trimmer and a resistor is installed in series with it because if the thermistor gets all the 12V then it becomes too hot damaging itself and also hazardous. The voltage then goes to the op-amp and also the 6 resistor feeds the op-amp some chatter which is eliminated by the transistor. The transistor is installed only to provide a switch to the relay. The collector terminal is given to a diode and then to a LED which glows according to the resistance applied and also helps in taking observations.

PERSONAL EXPERIENCE
This project gave me the push I needed to look deeper into the electronics world. I started going to shops to buy equipment. I received some equipments which i was unfamiliar with which made me search the internet for it and ask sir What is this? and How to use them?. This made me more open to it. Also looking at my friends projects and circuit diagram i got to understand more and more equipments. This gave me the thirst to learn more. Later I started to read more about electronics and decided that after all my exams are over I will do more projects. This project has set up a new hobby for me. Especially the soldering was fun. I burned my nger which made me do it more carefully but by the end of the project my soldering technique was 1- times better!
