1. Attend a Eucharistic Holy Hour on the last Sunday of each month. 2. Pray daily Rosary. 3. Abstain from meat on Friday and fast on Fridays. 4. Participate in the 2nd Fortnight for Freedom on June 30.

Tithes- $2,363 No Religious Education Classes or Bible Study on Wednesday, December 26 due to Christmas break. Religious Education resumes Wednesday, January 2 from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. Bible Study Epic is Wed., Jan. 2 from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. The Great Adventure is Wed., Jan. 2 from 8:00 - 10:00 p.m. and Thurs., Jan. 4 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Session 10 questions will be discussed. Birthright of Knoxville seeks to help parents to view their pregnancy with hope by providing some assistance with maternity clothing and newborn baby items. They need sleep sacks, sleepers, crib sheets, socks that stay on babies feet, winter clothing... all for newborns. They could also use clean, gently used maternity clothes. If you wish to help Birthright, place your donations in the basket in the church by January 6. Questions? Call Pat at 774-2734. Poinsettias donations can be made toward the purchase of our poinsettias to decorate the church for Christmas. Place in the collection basket and mark as such or drop off at the office. Dont forget to make your Annual Diocesan Appeal Pledge payments. We received a report and there are payments that are behind. Collection of food for the Ministry Center is the 3rd Sunday of the month. The Ministry Center thanks you for the items we have donated. There is ALWAYS a need for paper products- toothpaste, toilet paper, diapers as the Center can only purchase food items.

Book Club for the month of January is at the home of Emery and Raymonda Pisut on Sunday, January 13 at 7:00 p.m. The book that will be discussed is A Father Who Keeps His Promises by Scott Hahn. All are welcome. Thanks to all who donated money, time and cookies for the Christmas plates. Twenty-three plates were fixed and delivered. Celebrate is February 3. The cost is $20.00. The Women of Sacred Heart will pay half of this fee for each child.
