Image Processing and Applications in Biomedical Problems

ABSTRACT:
In this talk, we will start by discussing the role of image processing techniques in biomedical applications. We will discuss simple image processing methods and see how they can be applied to biomedical images. In the second part of the talk, we will discuss some of our own biomedical image processing research taking place here at the University of Utah.
