Iconix eMail ID
Iconix eMail ID is a free email verification program to protect yourself against spam emails claiming to be from major companies like Paypal, Amazon, eBay, and others. It uses industry standard technologies to verify the authenticity of an email message by checking out the email sender against a list of registered senders with ICONIX, Inc. Once an email has passed Authentication and Identification steps a Truemark icon is displayed in your inbox. The technologies used by Iconix eMail ID include Domain Keys and Sender ID which are backed by companies such as Cisco, Microsoft and Yahoo! Everything
Everything is a very quick, find-as-you-type file locater for Windows. It bypasses Windows search to provide real-time results for all of the files and folders in your local hard drive or any subsection of it. The results screen can display seven different fields: name, path, size, last write time, creation time, last access time, and attributes. You can use boolean (AND, OR) operators, right-click on folders to search them and send the files to an FTP server with just a click. Normally very very quick, Everything does slow down when more than 1,000 results need to be sorted out. You can run the program when you need it, or configure it to auto-start with Windows, either way Everything builds its index and responds to changes quickly. Please note Everything does not search file contents, only file and folder names. Smush it
Smush it, at smushit.com, is a service that could be used to optimise images. It uses image format specific non-lossy image optimisation tools to squeeze the last bytes out of your images, without altering their look or visual quality. You would be provided with a report of how many bytes you could save by the optimisation, and a Zip archive of all the optimised images to download. To use Smush it service you can upload a bunch of pictures in your browser, or provide a list of image urls or use a Firefox extension to optimise the images found on any web page. iTag can add title, description and keyword tags to your photos and movies. The captions added are embedded into each file using industry standard IPTC and XMP headers all in a lossless operation that doesnt tarnish the image. iTag works with your local files to Tag photo and movie files (JPEG, TIFF, PNG, RAW and AVI) with title, description, rating and keywords; adjust timestamps of photos; geocode your photos and movies by embedding GPS coordinates using Google Earth (screenshot);Search for tagged files with iTags powerful search engine using keyword, rating, filename or even a street address if you have geocoded photos. Search for files that are missing tags, and generate Cooliris slideshows for your local photos and movies.
