Press Release January 2013

Oliver Wight and JDA to run joint IBP and S&OP Workshop in Singapore
Business improvement specialists, Oliver Wight, will be joining supply chain software providers, JDA, on Friday 11 January 2013, to present the benefits of Integrated Business Planning and Sales & Operations Planning in successful business management. The free workshop, which takes place at the Marina Mandarin Singapore 8.30am-1.30pm, is designed to provide senior executives and middle management an insight into managing a business through Integrated Business Planning. Presentations from both Oliver Wight, the originators of sales and operations planning (S&OP) and IBP, and supply chain software specialists JDA, will explicate the intricate relationship between good processes and choosing the right tools. Oliver Wight Partner, Mike Reed, who will be co-presenting the workshop, has over 25-years helping businesses across multinational firms to implement Integrated Business Planning processes for business success. 2013 will be a year for organisations to really get to grips with the processes that run their businesses, explains Reed. As markets become increasingly segmented and customers ever more demanding, Integrated Business Planning will become even more vital in providing the visibility to respond effectively to changing market conditions. JDA has been a strategic partner of Oliver Wight since 2008, and its software incorporates Oliver Wights market-leading methodology. Successful IBP requires a balance between people, processes and technology, says Reed. This interactive workshop will not only provide an essential overview of how this can be achieved, but also reveal some of the frustrations and advantages that different tools and techniques produce, enabling attendees to compare and contrast overall results. This popular workshop has limited places available, to register for your place visit: http://info.jda.com/forms/SOPWorkshop2013Singapore?elq=1161f46f87fb433ea7dba051cc61 cda3
