[NSE-LPU JOINT CERTIFICATION IN CAPITAL MARKETS]

Program Duration: 100 hours


(80 hours theory, 20 hours practical), to be completed in 4-6 months

Joint NSE-LPU Certification after fulfilling the prescribed criteria 10+2 /Equivalent or higher qualification. Theory Lectures will be shared by LPU Faculty, Industry Experts and NSE Experts. Practical will be arranged with stock broker/s for hands on experience in trading and other operations. Study Material would be provided by NSE & LPU.

Syllabus: Introduction to Financial Markets Derivatives Trading System Macro Economics Fundamental Analysis Technical Analysis Market Operations Currency Futures Discussions on Financial Newspapers and Journals Practical Training Evaluation: Component Max Marks Pass Marks Nature Mid Term Exam 100 50 MCQ of 2 hours duration to (MTE) be conducted by LPU End Term Exam 100 50 MCQ of 2 hours duration to (ETE) be conducted by NSE Project Work 50 25 Project under the guidance of mentors from LPU Examination Methodology: Mid Term Exam will be conducted by LPU after about 2 months of start of the program. It will be analytical exam consisting of 100 questions, on NCFM pattern. Project Work will be initiated during the first 2-3 weeks of the start of the program and will be required to be submitted 1 week before the completion of theory classes. End Term Exam will be online (on NCFM pattern), to be conducted by NSE at Jalandhar Centre. Date of Exam shall be finalized by NSE in co-ordination with LPU and once the same is confirmed no change of dates are possible for any candidate.

Note: 1. The candidate will be required to secure pass marks in MTE and Project Work before being declared eligible for ETE. 2. Minimum 50% attendance in classes is mandatory. 3. The candidate will be given two chances, without any additional fee, to clear the MTE & ETE. 4. After two chances a fee of Rs.500 will be payable for every additional attempt to clear the MTE. 5. After two chances a fee of Rs.1500 will be payable directly to NSE for every additional attempt to clear the online ETE. Fee: Rs. 15000/- (to be paid at the time of registration)
