 Hepatoblastoma
• 1.5 year old child .male
• Presentation was abdominal swelling which was noticed by the
family after a simple fall .no any other complaint has been
mentioned at all.
• All investigations , blood count ,biochemistery urine and others
were normal apart from U S scan which has revealed amass in the
liver not properly mentioning its anatomical location.
• C T scan has revealed a mass in the segment 5 and 6 of the liver.
He has been explored through bilateral subcostal incisions .right
hepatic lobectomy has been performed without using any
technology .the resection of the parenchyma has been done by
small cut and suture cm by cm until all the resection has been
completed .he had un eventful recovery .chemo therapy has been
planned for him with follow up.
