Corporate recruitment system

Abstract
The aim of this project is To give worth full and reliable candidates to a Company or Organization with the help of Employee Reference. Whenever there are vacancies in the company, HR of the company, will put these details of vacancies, qualifications and experience required etc. in Employee Reference Portal of the organization by giving a chance to the employees of the company, to refer candidates for these vacancies. If any employee knows any reliable candidate, he will refer that candidates by sending candidate information and resume to the company HR. HR will check the details of all candidates, forwarded by various employees and sends a call letter to the selected candidates for test/interview. If the candidate is selected in the test he will be recruited by the company. The total recruitment process can be viewed by any employee of the company. If the candidate referred by an employee, then that employee will get some benefits or cash from the company. I am using java and oracle to implement this project. It is intranet application and not accessible to the outside of the organization. The project Corporate recruitment system aims in solving the problems involved in recruitment process of an organization. The project developed using JSP, Java beans, JDBC, Weblogic, Oracle provides a multi user environment thru companys intranet. The project has two main modules, HR module and Employee module. HR module is used by HR personnel to perform vacancy related activities, post recruitment activities etc,. Employee module is used by employees to refer candidates and to track references. When logged into this system the suitable module is automatically gets selected based on the privileges of employees. HR Module: This module provides the following activities 1. View Vacancy 2. Problem Description
Employee Referral Program is a tool, which helps an organization or company in the process of recruiting new employees for the organization. The organization recruits employees at different levels. Whenever a vacancy arises in the company, the company provides an opportunity to the existing employees to refer a candidate who suits for the vacancy. The company provides incentives to the employees, if a candidate referred by an employee got selected. In the existing system, whenever there is a vacancy in the company, HR personnel informs the employees about the vacancy and the employees will refer the suitable candidates for the vacancy. The HR personnel maintain the details of references and incentives are paid to employees. This system has many problems. It is difficult to maintain the reference as organization grows in size. It is very difficult to track the references. Whenever a need arises to prepare list of candidates referred by an employees, their status etc., the HR personnel has to do lot of work in preparing the list. Hence the organization wants to develop a tool, which helps in the process of recruiting employees, tracking reference, preparing incentive statements for the employees etc.,

Enhancements
Technology is ever increasing and there is no leash to it that is why there is always a lot of scope for improvement. The project can be extend as follows:

1) This application runs on local intranet. We can extend the application to internet, so that employees can refer from anywhere. 2) An option can provide to generate mails for the candidates informing about the interview schedules and other related information. 3) Automatic generation of reminders to HR employees if suitable action is not taken against any referral within specified time from the time of reference made. 4) We can provide an option directly to the candidates, so that they can enter and update their details directly into the system.
