Site alteration solution(Indoor to Outdoor)

Basically all BTS sites will be changed to Outdoor Type (around 800 sites) except for TPs special requirement to keep it. What we need to do for this kind of sites:

ZTE BBU and install IDU and battery into Transfer original MWZTE BS8700 BBU&RRU, cabinet. ThenMW IDU. Reconnect cables. cable from ZTE RRU to antenna. 1. Installation ZTE BS8900A rack and power cabinet, layout power and jumper cable before swap. 2. Swap start, power Off original BTS and power rack. 3. Disconnect original BTS jumper and transmission cable 4. Transfer original MW IDU to ZTE power cabinet, transmission cutover both BTS and BSC side. 5. After transmission is ok ,feeder cable modification (if necessary)and remake the connectors (if necessary). Test VSWR and then reconnect jumper cables to feeder cables. 6. Power on ZTE BS8900A and set on air.

The DCPD4 is used when the existing DC power system is re-used, either for indoor or outdoor sites and has the following functions: 1) Provides one channel of -48V DC power input and supports a current of not more than 80A 2) Provides eight channels of DC power output, each of which is controlled by an independent 20A air switch to support a current of not more than 16A 3) Provides lightning protection and surge protection for the power output through a built-in lightning protection board 4) Provides dry contact alarm output on the lightning protection board

Battery Swap Solution
