FOREWORD
After becoming acquainted through e-mail and phone, Nehemiah and his wife, Hannah, visited our ministry a few years ago. Although they had been living in South Carolina for quite some time, had a nice home with acreage and were basically settled in retirement, they decided the Lord would have them sell out and move to Euless to be a part of our local body and ministry. They presently live on campus in a small apartment and are a vital part of the ministry here. It has been my blessing and joy to watch them eagerly receive ministry and see the change in their lives. Nehemiah, with his website www.freeinthelordministries.com, is a tremendous advocate of the power of personal deliverance and is a walking testimony of such. Hear Nehemiahs heart cry in this book. I know he has written this because he has found this powerful work of God in his personal life. PREFACE
People worldwide live in awesome bondage, condemnation, guilt, rejection, anger, poverty and lives that are often broken to the point of death. This is not what a loving and powerful God wants for His children. Why do so many suffer so much? Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil and to set the captives free. Everywhere He went demons were cast out and people healed. Why not today? Why dont pastors and believers worldwide take seriously what Jesus taught and did in His earthly ministry? There is no reason to refuse the ministry of deliverance, the breaking of curses over a persons life and the casting out of demons in the name of Jesus. This book explores three major areas of bondage: (1) deliverance from demons, (2) the breaking of various curses (3) the impact of contact objects. It is way past time to quit denying what Jesus taught and did, to put on spiritual armor, go forward in the name and authority of Jesus Christ and bring people OUT OF BONDAGE. 1 - Deliverance Ministry of Jesus

Jesus ministered deliverance to multitudes of people. His heart and passion was to see hurting people in bondage set free. MARK 1:39 And He went through all Galilee, preaching in their synagogues and expelling the demons. MARK 16:17 And these signs will follow those who believe. In My name they will cast out demons 1

MATTHEW 12:28 - But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the Kingdom of God has come upon you. Jesus emphasized the unique significance of the ministry of casting out demons. He ordered the demons to be quiet so He could deal with the manifesting person. Jesus never ordered the person be put out of the synagogue, as some are put out of churches today. How simple His way is as MATTHEW 10:7-8 recorded: And as you go, preach, saying the Kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick cleanse the lepers raise the dead CAST OUT DEMONS. Jesus commissioned this ministry and believers are to obey and follow Him.

commissioned. Fear of any kind comes directly from Satan. Any believer, realizing and admitting they are under demonic influence, is humbled and under some degree of trauma. It is often difficult for someone in a place of authority or reputation to submit to deliverance ministry. Pride and shame enter. Satan and his demons are deceivers. Their cunning has convinced most members in the Body of Christ that a Christian cannot have a demon or be demonized in some area of their life. This deception continues through unscriptural false teachings. The Bible nowhere says that a sheep of the house of Israel cannot have a demon. You cannot crucify a demon, pray him out or put him to death demons only go by casting them out in the name of Jesus after certain conditions are met by the believer. A Christian can be tormented or afflicted by demons in some area of his life, and yet praise and worship God, or have some physical illness traced to a spiritual root. Jesus expelled demons from many people who led ordinary lives. Believers suffer with numerous physical infirmities and thoughts or dealing with uncontrollable or unhealthy appetites. What about you? Christians who are normal, successful, healthy and faithful to God, can be beset by haunting fears or compulsive appetites (lust, greed, addictions) caused by the presence of some evil spirit. When they submit to deliverance ministry the process of real freedom begins. What does the average Christian normally do with these torments? Sadly, they seek drugs, therapies, the occult, medical treatments, continual prayers at the altar or remedies outside of what Gods Word teaches. Getting rid of demons and curses the way Jesus Christ taught brings true peace and a life-changing, life-long walk with the Lord. Jesus Christ is the deliverer - ask Him to help break your bondages and set you free.

2 - Christians Do Have Demons

MATT 10:1-8, MARK 16:17 and Luke 9:1-2 give clear instructions about unclean spirits. The 12 disciples received instructions from Jesus about what to do in their ministry. Christians have problems, profound desperate problems that often seem to defy any solution. Every sincere Christian struggles faithfully against Satans attempt to overpower him. Prayer goes unanswered, the old self refuses to stay dead, tempers and anger remain, shameful appetites, fears and anxieties continue. Most believers learn to live with these situations and never get the real freedom Jesus wants for them. Evil spirits literally invade the personality of the person and exercise some dominion and control from within the person and feed on fears, insecurities, rejections, unforgiveness, bitterness and anger, Many Christians believe that Satan will just go away if only they ignore him. Not true. We oppose him and he will flee. No one should ever take a cavalier attitude towards Satan. 1 PET 5:8-9, JAMES 4:7 and 2 COR 1:9,11 are clear warnings. Out of ignorance and/or instilled fears some believers do not believe in demons or the ministry of deliverance, which Jesus 2

3 - Yes, You Need Deliverance

Many people, desperate to find peace and freedom, reach out for deliverance. This is humbling and can be traumatic. They come 3

after trying a multitude of human, fleshly remedies. Failing to discern the presence of evil spirits they only see the symptoms and not the root cause of the affliction.

Criticism, judgment, negative comments Jealousy, envy, self-centeredness, impatience, hatred Broken relationships, isolation, heaviness, depression Infirmities, pains

Situations that need attention for deliverance ministry: Something is out of control Anger without reason, contentious, bitter, critical Ongoing health problems, anxiety, insecurity, confusion Oppression, rejection, hurt feelings and teasing Difficult to pray, study the Bible, praise and worship God Living in the past, living for future, not living for today Financial and family problems, addictions Torment, mental illness, hear voices, depression

Who do you forgive? Everybody. Yourself. So called acts of God. How do you forgive? Make a conscious CHOICE. What price is put on real peace? Forgive and in time emotions will settle, pains will leave and true peace comes.

5 - Prayer of Forgiveness
Father in Heaven, I come to you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. I believe He is Your Son, He has risen from the grave and sits at Your right hand ever interceding for me. I repent of not forgiving, holding bitterness in my heart and being upset about other people, situations and even myself. You so willingly forgive so I choose to forgive also. Bring to my mind every person and everything I need to forgive. In the Name of Jesus Christ I forgive (people as their names come to you) I declare my forgiveness of every person I have named and shall continue to consider them forgiven from this time on. I also forgive (name hurtful or traumatic situations). I confess any and all bitterness toward You, oh God. I know You do not make mistakes and are perfect in all Your ways. Help me to see that more and more. I renounce the spirits of bitterness, anger, hatred, violence, retaliation, murder and memory recall. I command these unclean spirits to leave me now. I will restore anything owed to anyone as You give strength and provision and forgive anything that is owed to my by anyone. 5

Joshua conquered the Promised Land one city at a time. Deliverance is an ongoing, life-changing process, not a one-time patchwork experience. Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil and deliverance ministry exposes these evil spirits. Everyone needs the ministry of deliverance.

4 - Forgiveness Opens The Door For Deliverance

MARK 11:26 If you do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in heaven forgive you. Part of the suffering of Jesus on the cross was for our forgiveness. Unforgiveness is the major barrier to receiving deliverance from the demonic. It gives the demons legal right to enter and to remain in you. Torment continues until you forgive. Some symptoms of unforgiveness to consider: Anger, outbursts, temper tantrums, over-reacting 4

I now receive healing in my physical body and command every spirit of infirmity and disease to leave me now. You unclean spirits have no grounds to stay so leave now. I ask you, Jesus Christ, to pour the balm of healing into my wounded spirit and I now receive healing for a broken heart that has come because of hurts, disappointments and abuses. Thank You, Father and Son through Your Holy Spirit. AMEN.

PROV 30:6 Do not add to His words, lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar. REV 22:18-19 If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of this book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life Is your pastor and church believing, teaching and ministering deliverance? If not, WHY? Could it be the fear of man, the denominational governing board or other members? GAL 1:10 For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? Will it be to please the Lord or to please men? You must choose! Something is terribly and painfully wrong in most churches today. Jesus clearly said to heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers and cast out demons but the church is busy with various social and entertainment programs which ignore the spiritual needs of its suffering members in bondage. Many are listening to and teaching another gospel, another Jesus and a different spirit. Documented situations abound where a believer manifests in services and is quickly removed to the basement or out of the building, lest somebody be offended or embarrassed. Jesus never ministered this way. He responded in love by rebuking the demon in the person and ordering the demon to Be quiet and come out of him. LUKE 4:33-36 and MARK 1:23-26. Do what Jesus did and set the people free.

6 - A True Full Gospel Church

Jesus taught His disciples what a true full-gospel church ministry must include. MATT 10:1-8, LUKE 4:18, LUKE 9:1-2, MARK 6:7-13, MARK 16:15-18 and MATT 12:28-29. Preach the gospel of the Kingdom of God People must repent of their sins Anoint, lay hands on the sick and heal Cast out demons in the name of Jesus Take authority over unclean spirits Set the captives free Cleanse the lepers Speak with new tongues Bind the strong man and engage in spiritual warfare

In REV 22:18-19, DEUT 4:2 and PROV 30:4-5 Jesus warns anyone who adds to or takes away from the Word. God is seeking people who will obey Him in all things. ROM 9:14-21 He is a sovereign God. Blessings always flow to the obedient.

8 - Why Altar Prayers Often Fail

Prayer is necessary. God responds to prayer. Something is seriously missing when many of the same people go to the altar week after week. They kneel, pray, even become emotional and cry out but they are never healed or find comfort for their pain and suffering. 7

7 Churches That Refuse Deliverance

Honest pastors are to teach and minister everything that Jesus commanded. God warns those who refuse His instructions: 6

Why is this? A woman went to the altar for several weeks and was not healed of her back pains. I asked the Lord why and He revealed that a demonic spirit was near her kidneys. Her church denied outright that she, a believer, could have a demon within or even be oppressed by a demon. Several months later she came for deliverance ministry and the Lord gave her healing and freedom. Another denominational pastor witnessed a member begin to manifest in services. He chose not to deal with the demon, as Jesus taught, but called 911. The lady was taken away by ambulance, along with her demons. She later died in agony. This church and its pastor denied the ministry of deliverance and refused to help the lady. He glossed over the verses about demons when he taught from MARK 16. WHY? What a sad commentary on the suffering of so many believers, who truly love the Lord, sincerely pray and believe, but remain in demonic bondage because their church refuses to teach, believe and practice what Jesus did concerning deliverance. Jesus strongly describes unconcerned and disobedient pastors in JOHN 10:11-13. Instead of laying down his life for the flock when he sees the wolf coming, he leaves the sheep and flees. The pastor flees because he is a hired hand and is not concerned about the sheep, but only doing what he is told to do and paid to do. What should any pastor do when a member manifests? Take authority, have other members gather around for support, speak with the power given him in the name of Jesus, ask the Holy Spirit for guidance and then cast the demon out and witness the person get real freedom. Jesus always came casting out demons and healing the sick. MARK 1:39 And He went into their synagogues throughout all Galilee, preaching and casting out the demons. Refusing to do what Jesus did is a major problem today in most churches. Problems will continue at the altar until all pastors obey Gods 8

word and minister deliverance.

9 - Body Ministry You Cannot Survive Without It

1 COR 12:12 - For even as the body is one and yet has many members, and all the members of the body, though they are many, are ONE BODY, so also is Christ. God has no favorites and He places each individual member how, when and where He chooses. EPHESIANS 4:11 and NEHEMIAH 10:39 outline the 5-fold ministry and various other functions within the body. If a believer decides to go alone as a lone ranger, who does he turn to when spiritual or physical needs come? Sickness JAMES 5:14. Hunger, trauma, loneliness, financial problems, depression, fears, demonic attacks each person needs to have contact with other caring believers to help bear burdens. How can a believer grow and serve if he is not in a body ministry? TITUS chapter 2 instructs 4 groups of believers. Every believer is important to God and loved by Him. ECCL 4:9-12 concerns a person who falls and there is no one to help him get up. God never intended any believer to be alone. He gives each person a measure of faith and specific giftings. Spiritual revelation has been given to Micah Bell (The KEY Ministries) concerning what happens after a person receives deliverance and their house has been swept clean. a believer has demons cast out there is a deeper cleansing to be done. Minds and bodies have been deceived and defiled by trespassers and thieves and can now be cleansed and renewed through the blood of Jesus and the living Word of God. Without a deeper cleansing a person gets worse instead of better. The local Body of Christ is very important to any person following the ministry of having demons cast out. If the person does not get integrated into a body of believers who see, understand and receive this part of the ministry of Christ, they will not be able to maintain their swept house. Within the local body is the work of the 9

Holy Spirit showing and teaching the believer to forgive, practice Kingdom principles of the Word of God and most importantly learning to love. This cannot be accomplished unless the person is truly jointed in a Body of Believers. Many believers receive comprehensive deliverance ministry only to return to their church (if they have one) where the leadership either does not believe in or minister deliverance. Consequently, the earnest disciple finds his or her conquest fades away. Deliverance is not something we receive once or twice and then go on our way. The enemies of our souls must be confronted and engaged. This requires a lifetime of surveillance as one walks with the full armor of God. Being in a local body provides a place of safety, transparency, comfort, support and ongoing love from fellow believers. There is much disappointment in the lives of many people when they realize that deliverance has no place in most of their churches today. God loves family. He desires our lives to be intertwined, bonded and jointed with one another for ongoing mutual benefit and blessings. Body ministry is an absolute need for any believer.

throwing the city into confusion. They overlooked the spiritual miracle of deliverance in the slave girl because of their lust and greed. LUKE 8:26-37 is about the demonized man from Gerasenes who suffered for many years until Jesus came and set him free from the spirit of Legion. The demons were permitted to enter the swine and went into the sea. Herdsmen in the area saw this deliverance. Instead of rejoicing at the freedom of the suffering man they became upset and people in the surrounding district asked Jesus to leave them. Their pigs were more important than the sanity and health of the man Jesus set free. When the power of ruling principalities in a given area is broken or an individual is set free this causes disruptions and changes in the people involved. Even demons are affected as JAMES 2:19 says: You believe that God is one. You do well, the demons also believe, and shudder. Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil which includes casting demons out of believers and setting free captives held in bondage. The breaking of oppression irritates some people. Relationships within the extended family are often challenged, un-healthy soulties are broken, the spirits of Ahab and Jezebel are exposed, and issues of manipulation-domination-intimidation are revealed. People are exposed for what they really are and division is the result. Where they should be rejoicing there is often resentment and anger at the changed person. Deliverance often causes division when it exposes the works of darkness and brings people to the light of the truth. One who prefers darkness is suddenly threatened. Deliverance brings the Kingdom of God among people. And true freedom to the believer. JOHN 8:31 If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Are you ready for real change in your life? Jesus will set you free 11

10 - Deliverance Brings Changes

Deliverance does set a person free but not all at once. JER 15:11 The Lord said, Surely I will set you free for purposes of good. Joshua took the Promised Land city by city. Deliverance is a lifestyle change for the rest of your life. It is wonderful and yet it is painful at times, requiring understanding, patience and healing. ACTS 16:16-19 is the story of the slave girl and the apostle Paul and how he dealt with the spirit of divination in the girl. Her witchcraft powers and fortune telling were bringing her masters great profits. After some time Paul was annoyed by this girls demonic activities and rebuked the demon in her and it came out immediately. Her masters became furious with Paul and Silas and took them before the authorities where they were accused of 10

just ask Him.

not obeying God in all things. Disobedience, spoken words, witchcraft, contact objects, occult, generational there are many open doors that allow curses to operate in your life. Following chapters give many causes of curses but do not include every curse. If you are cursed ask the Lord to reveal whats behind the curse and what you should do. The Holy Spirit will guide you to the godly solution. Remember PROVERBS 26:2 So a curse without cause does not alight.

2 - Pierced Earrings and Body Piercing

LEVITICUS 19:28 You shall not make any cuts n your body The typical jewelry box contains several pierced earrings, studs and other items to be inserted into the ears and other body parts. Why pierce if the Lord says dont? Where do these practices come from? Are they dangerous? Magic arts teach that the first earrings were worn to block evil spirits from entering ones body through various openings and taking control. Piercing of the ear is an ancient practice to allow one to wear earrings. Most body piercing is somehow associated with various religious and magical reasons: Strengthen weak eyes Set with emeralds for better vision effects Gold earrings might cure headaches Some people believe they offer protection GENESIS 35:2-4 and the earrings which were in their ears; and Jacob hid them Pierce your flesh and these can happen: Bells Palsy pierces 7th cranial nerve behind ears 40,00 new cases in United States reported each year Difficulty smiling, blinking and closing eyes, frowning Gland problems that control tears and saliva Twitching, weakness, paralysis, drooling, droopy eyelids 13

1- What Is A Curse?

To utter a wish of evil against someone, utter or call for mischief, or for injury that can cause one to fall, to vex or arrest, all meant to bring people into great calamities. (Websters 1828 Dictionary) DEUT 8:20 you shall perish; because you would not listen to the voice of the Lord your God. Disobedience brings curses into a persons life. DEUT 28:15-45 outlines the serious consequences of 12

 Dry mouth, taste impairment, tongue-eye-ear problems Impaired speech, headaches, dizziness, sexual problems God says Do not cut your flesh. Obedience to Gods law prevents any associated problems to your body.

This writers great-great grandfather, brick mason and plantation farmer in Georgia, owned slaves. An ancestral generational curse came on his family and his descendants and those who were enslaved and their family lines. Through deliverance ministry I broke this curse off my family line.

3 Slavery Willie Lynch The Plantation

Curses of slavery are extant worldwide with broken family lines, attitudes of hate, violence and whole countries devoured by racism. Africa suffers under racial prejudice even in the 21st century. The United States was torn apart by the Civil War of 1861-65. Supremacy groups still function today, spewing forth the venom of racism simply because of a persons skin color. Willie Lynch was an infamous slave owner in Virginia. He wrote the book entitled Lets Make A Slave, a classic study of how he cursed black people to keep them in bondage. This curse began in 1712 on the banks of Virginias James River. Lynch controlled the slaves by using fear, distrust, envy, beatings and murdering males in front of their families. He taught female slaves to be independent and negotiable and that the male slave was mentally dependent and weak. Lynch fostered distrust among the slaves and to trust only the white owners and their families. This may be a reason for so much welfare today. Lynch and many other slave owners placed numerous curses on black people that need to be broken. Leaders need to come forward and take authority over these curses and break them in the name of Jesus. A copy of the Willie Lynch curse was sent to a Christian group in Kenya. The members prayed, repented (some of their ancestors had betrayed family members to slave traders) and broke the slavery curse and many were set free. Seek the Lord to know if any of your ancestors were slave owners and break those curses as God leads. 14

4 - Stigmata A Demonic Teaching

Demons can imitate the suffering of Jesus. One way is the stigmata, where sores and marks resembling the crucifixion wounds of Jesus on the cross appear in human flesh. This sometimes occurs during a religious ecstasy or hysteria. Over 300 documented cases, mostly women, are recorded since the 13th century. The most famous case is St. Francis of Assisi. Jesus was wounded for our transgressions ISAIAH 53:5 no other person was. We do share in His sufferings: 1 PETER 4:12-13 and 1 CORINTHIANS 1:4-5. The bleeding palms, sores or other markings in the human body are deceptions from Satan.

5 Sexual Abuse
Most common is one family member abusing another close family member. Many homes have a history of ongoing sexual abuse, which is the root of many serious problems, affecting millions of people. Serious emotional, mental and physical health problems are created by one or more of the following situations. Not every abused person encounters every situation: Rape Incest Sins of the fathers Blocked or bound memory Emotional pain and damage Depression, traumatic shock Death and suicide wishes 15

 Sexual fantasy, Pornography addiction Frigidity, extra-marital affairs Cannot discern true agape love Flashbacks during right sex Blanking out, hatred of right sex Family secrets, hatred and shame A sexually abused person finds it difficult to speak out about what happened.They may not remember a single detail. Jesus shows compassion about their pain. Deliverance ministry is needed to set the abused person free.

7 - Stones and Gems New Age

Mother Earth worship produces interest in precious stones and gems and New Agers want us to believe that special powers are attached to these items. The following information is for you to investigate, examine, and, with prayer, determine if there is a demonic element involved in the possession of and wearing this jewelry. Supposed properties attached to stones and gems: Amethyst immune system, helps mental disorders, psychic powers, calms nerves and gives protection Diamond master healer, deters negative thoughts, enhances brain function Emerald strengthens heart, liver, kidneys and nervous system. Enhances dreams, meditation, spiritual insight and balances emotions Jade corrects eye disorders, female problems and increases longevity and fertility Opal aids eyesight and enhances intuition Ruby vitalizes blood, body and mind systems, gives feelings of success Sapphire strengthens willpower, psychic powers and dispels confusion Topaz detox body, strengthen thyroid, balance emotions Turquoise strengthens body, aids circulation, lungs and respiration. Common in Native American jewelry Zircon strengthens mind, relieves bowel problems and sleep disorders

6 - The Cleft Palate

The 4th most common birth defect worldwide., affecting 1 out of every 700 births. Basically it involves the separation of the upper jaw or upper gum and an opening in the roof of the mouth occurs. One common belief in some countries says people with cleft lips are cursed because the pregnant woman went outside during the eclipse of the moon. This is obviously a demonic belief. One superstition says: If the cleft is corrected a curse will shift to the entire family. Many in India choose to do nothing to help the child with a cleft palate because they fear some curse will come on them. Some parents abandon their children and some mothers are blamed for their childs situation. This is demonic. Treatment is simple, often costing no more than $500 US. The stigma of the cleft palate leaves untold thousands of children without a good education, opportunity for marriage or a normal social life. Cleft palate in the United States is not a general problem. Believers need to seek the Lord for the root cause of the cleft palate in their children This author believes the cleft palate is a generational sins of the fathers curse and should be handled accordingly. 16

8 Smoking
There is a demonic connection to smoking. A mind-control demon tells you to light up while having a drink, watching TV, a movie or observing another person smoking. A question to ask yourself is: If my body is the temple of the Holy Spirit then why would I want to foul it with smoke? 1 COR 3:7 gives warning about hurting 17

ones body. Nicotine is addictive and demons will use this against a smoker. It attacks the nervous system, causes mood swings between periods of hypertension and depression, affects mental alertness, and dulls the senses in general. Smoking is very expensive and curses ones finances by wasting funds. Second-hand smoke harms others and is socially rude. The spirit of death accompanies smoking. It is called slow suicide. Biblical research seems to indicate that smoking is burning incense to pagan gods. There is nothing redeeming in smoking and a believer should repent and cast the demons of tobacco out in the name of Jesus.

10 Self-Imposed Spoken Curses

MATTHEW 12:36-37 for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned. Jesus focused on idle words and what you speak is powerful. You cannot cover up your idle chatter by saying Oh, I was just kidding or I did not mean it. Derek Prince (quoting Blessing or Curse, chapter 12) gives examples (some paraphrased) of idle words, which can curse both speaker and recipient: Mental and/or emotional breakdown Its driving me crazy, It makes me mad to think Repeated or chronic illness Im sick and tired - I always catch that bug Barrenness and female problems Ive got that curse again Ill lose this one too Marriage problems and family alienation I knew he would find another womanPalm-reader said I should leave my husband Our family always fights like cats and dogs Suicide, unnatural or untimely deaths Whats the use of living? Over my dead body Id rather die than Accident prone Always happens to me I knew trouble was ahead Im a clumsy person Ive got the dropsys today, watch out Oaths and pledges made to secret societies, fraternities, 19

9 Tattoos
Another violation of Gods law on cutting the flesh is tattoos. This practice is related to blood-letting and magic and can led to one or more of the following curses: Related to blood-letting and magical practices Serious skin and blood infections, hepatitis C Roots traceable to pagan demonism, Baal worship, occultism Themes of death (snakes, skulls, spiders, webs, demons) Alcohol and drug problems increase, violent behavior Sexual misconduct, dropping out of school, jobs, activities Possible psychiatric conditions, bi-polar, antisocial, bondage Damage to relationships and employment opportunities Most people would never deface or defile a place of worship but have little or no objection to defiling or defacing their own bodies. What might cost $50 and a few minutes of time may take years and thousands of dollars to remove. Tattoos can become an albatross on a person for all time. Obeying the Lord and never cutting ones flesh with tattoos guarantees safety from many curses. 18

Speaking negative words invites demons to come in, take over and fulfill what you spoke. Death-talk produces a meaningless life and physical infirmities, many which defy explanation. Never fear Satan or the demons. Walk in the power and authority of Gods Word and the name of Jesus. Listen only to the voice of the Holy Spirit. BASTARD DEUT 23:2 One of illegitimate birth shall not enter the assembly of the Lord. Any child conceived out of wedlock is by Bible definition a bastard and this curse can affect up to 10 generations unless broken in the name of Jesus after appropriate forgiveness of all persons involved. Here are some problems that can affect a person born as a bastard: Lust, anger, hate, envy, jealousy, being unsettled Difficulty in maintaining steady work, church and marriage issues Being a vagabond (wandering from place to place) Drug and alcohol problems, fascination with crime, occult, witchcraft Ahab and Jezebel tendencies, self-hatred Confrontational or withdrawal nature, difficulty in knowing true love Difficult in having good relationships, suicide thoughts Adultery, fornication, abortion, incest, insecurity, sexual sins Rejection, bitterness, rebellion, loneliness King David conceived a bastard child (II SAMUEL 11:2-5) and committed murder trying to cover his sexual sin. We are the recipients of the iniquities of our grand parents back several generations. This does not sound fair but the Lord allows this and expects us to deal with these curses. What are they? When did it begin and do you recognize an open door Any of my ancestors involved in any way? Any immediate family members having the same problem? Many teach that Christ took all the curses and it is finished. Not true. Grace never means that a curse cant come on a person and pass down through the generations. God provides a remedy for the curse. EXODUS 20:4 & DEUT 5:8 You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth. This commandment is mostly ignored, very misunderstood, 23

maligned by many and neglected by the majority of believers. WHY? This is the only commandment that carries a serious downward consequence when disobeyed. Here are samples of human reasoning concerning objects and images: Its only a little doll. I just love my ceramic angels What harm is a mermaid? Stuffed teddy bear-what harm? Old statue has been in the family for generations I got a dream-catcher for my grandchild-I see no harm

3 Inside Your Home

There is a realm beyond the physical areas of our lives. It is spiritual and often there is a sense that something in the home is not right. Here are some situations that should be examined: Ongoing illness, insomnia, behavioral problems, no peace Restless children, bad dreams, nightmares, apparitions Foul odors, nausea, headaches, body pains Objects move by themselves (poltergeists) Anything that draws a member to the occult

Images included under this law include: Animals, stars, sun, moon Male and female figures, carved images Standing images (phallic symbols), obelisks, pagodas Church steeples, minarets, Cross, Crucifix

There are a number of objects in a home that can attract demons. Some appear innocent or harmless. If anything is questionable, ask the Lord for discernment. Here are objects to consider that may be prone to demonic attachment: Crucifix, Dream Catchers, most Irish jewelry Occult symbols sewn in clothing designs and images Photos of dead people (death spirits) Christian jewelry (crosses, doves, fish symbols) Some antiques, heirlooms, pictures and statues of angels Puppetry, Ventriloquism, Subliminal tapes, Rock-n-Roll Music Satanic symbols (pentagram, cross of Nero, Baphomet) Dungeons and Dragons, most video games All dolls, Mime, all porno items, many gemstones Horoscopes, Ouija Board, Sance materials, Tarot Cards Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Exorcist, Wizard of Oz, E.T. Most Native American artwork, jewelry, clothing, blankets Boy and Eagle Scout materials. Charms, shamrocks,

Men have a natural tendency to eventually worship idols and images, which God prohibits with no exceptions. JOSHUA 6:18 by all means abstain from the accursed things, lest you become accursed Obey God, avoid being cursed.

2 Your Home Is Not Just A House

HEBREWS 3:4 For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God. Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (2 COR 6:19). Our bodies should be clean and orderly. It is reasonable that our physical homes should be the same. God holds the man responsible for the operation of his family and home. Men are to search their homes to see if any demonic object is inside or outside then make the corrections, even if some family member raises an objection. Many homes and their occupants are cursed through ignorance, false teachings or lack of proper instructions. Make your house a godly home. There is never room for idolatry. 24

You do not have to worship any item for it to be idolatry. Their existence in your home is enough to give demons the legal right to be in your home. 25

4 Outside Your Home

Many yards contain objects that attract demons. Always seek the Lord if something is questionable. Some items to consider that might be demonic: Ceramics, figures of frogs, owls, birds and animals Flags (symbols). Believers need no flags for identity Flamingos (Fire Birds- African myth about Egyptian Phoenix) Bootblacks (statues of black men from plantation daysslavery) Wind chimes (history is rooted in Eastern occultism)

childs mind. One couple had a stuffed frog named Max. One day, as they passed him in the bookcase, they noticed his eyes following them across the room. The Holy Spirit revealed this demonic object. It was destroyed, the owners repented and the curses were broken in the name of Jesus. Contact objects attract demonic spirits. Always seek the Lord in these matters and He will show you what is demonic, dangerous or acceptable.

6 Dream Catchers
Dream catchers, very popular with Native Americans, are used to filter out bad dreams at dawns first light. It is believed they trap unimportant or bad dreams that float in the air. The middle hole allows good dreams to reach the sleeping person. The cribs of many babies have a dream catcher hanging near by. They are nothing more than an AMULET used as a magic charm for sleep protection. God warns about this in DEUT 18:10-11. Many documented deliverance cases exist where children were wonderfully delivered from demonic problems when the dream catchers were removed, destroyed and the curses broken. A good and safe sleep comes from the Lord. PSALM 4:8 In peace I will both lie down and sleep PSALM 91:5,9-10. God is our protector and we never need a dream catcher. Believers are to put their trust for protection in Jesus Christ.

5 Dolls, Puppets and Stuffed Animals

Relationships are built with people, not inanimate objects like dolls. Many children develop a relationship with a doll, which becomes a demonic playmate soul-tie. There are documented cases where a doll spoke to a child. What spoke was a demon in the doll. This is dangerous to the child. This writer observed a 3-year old girl receive parental correction in church, pout, turn to her Raggedy Ann doll and began to talk to it, cuddle and caress it, as if it were a real person. God spoke to me and said None of my daughters are Raggedy Anns. Dolls attract demons and create false personalities like the Barbie doll, with her false fashion and seductive powers. Puppetry or voice throwing (ventriloquism) is always wrong. This is a form of magic and involves trickery and deceit, which leads to spiritual dullness in children and demonic issues later in their lives. The ever-popular teddy bear often becomes an imaginary playmate allowing demons to begin their evil work in the young 26

7 Voodoo Dolls
A very popular form of magic which uses a doll, usually made from wax or cloth, to represent a person being cursed. The doll is tagged with the name of the cursed person and often an item belonging to the person is attached to the doll. 27

A pin is stuck in the doll to cast the spell, usually around the liver area. Every kind of evil is conjured up including injury, fear, death, riches, bad luck to enemies, good luck to the one using the doll. Colors are important: red = love, black = hate, green = luck, pink = success, yellow = to dispel evil forces. God forbids the use of magic dolls of any kind. Those using voodoo dolls curse themselves and their family line. The practice is totally demonic and forbidden.

Who is fairest of all? Friday the 13th, number 13 Christians never dictate lucky or unlucky days. God controls our days. Some believe on Friday the 13th that Eve was tempted, Noah set sail, Tower of Babel was destroyed, Solomons temple toppled and Jesus was crucified. Many hotels, motels, office buildings and elevators have no 13th floor. Black cat across your path so called 9-lives, witches had black cats and cats are worshipped in some cultures (ROMANS 1:25) Walk under a ladder rested against the crucifix, a symbol of wickedness, betrayal and death. Egyptian good luck symbol (Osiris rescued from darkness because a ladder was used to save her) People, without the perfect peace of Jesus, in ignorance, turn to the superstitious for power and relief. ISAIAH 26:3 You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you.

8 Artwork and Bric-a-Brac

Artwork that attracts demons includes many Oriental paintings dragons, fire-breathing monsters, and demon gods/goddesses like Shiva (India). The Last Supper depicts the so-called Jesus and His disciples. No one knows what Jesus looked like. To picture him in any way violates the second commandment. People who possess such artwork will begin to develop demonic tendencies over time. They may hear voices, talk to and possibly see demonic spirits. God warns us in JOSHUA 6:18 ...abstain from the accursed things, lest you become accursed. Bric-a-brac includes ceramics and pictures of angels, which are mostly female. Gods Word teaches that angels are male. Never make an image of them. Also included are imps, turtles, frogs and other images. Possession of these items often brings a demonic point of contact, a stronghold that is difficult to break. JOSHUA 7:1, 16-26 is the story of Achan, an accursed object and the consequences that his ownership brought. God is always merciful and patient but demands obedience to His laws.

People worldwide live in awesome bondage, condemnation, guilt, rejection, anger, poverty and lives that are often broken to the point of death. This is not what a loving and powerful God wants for His children. Why do so many suffer so much? Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil and to set the captives free. Everywhere He went demons were cast out and people healed. Why not today? Why dont pastors and believers worldwide take seriously what Jesus taught and did in His earthly ministry? There is no reason to refuse the ministry of deliverance, the breaking of curses over a persons life and the casting out of demons in the name of Jesus. This book explores three major areas of bondage: (1) deliverance from demons, (2) the breaking of various curses (3) the impact of contact objects. It is way past time to quit denying what Jesus taught and did, to put on spiritual armor, go forward in the name and authority of Jesus Christ and bring people OUT OF BONDAGE.
