The Panduranga Timblo Group was started by Mr. Panduranga Datta Camotim Timblo, an intrepid entrepreneur who saw great potential in mining and export of minerals from Goa in 1950's. The Group diversified into a wide spectrum of businesses including shipbuilding and ship repairs.

Timblo Drydocks was incorporated in the early 70's. It is spread over an area of 10 hectares and situated on the Southern banks of the river Zuari in Goa on the West coast of India. Timblo Drydocks is engaged in designing and construction of various types of vessels like patrol crafts, passenger ferries, luxury boats, workboats, inland barges, coastal vessels, small tugs, offshore support vessels, multipurpose vessels, pontoons etc. Timblo Drydocks has delivered and is building vessels for various Indian and foreign clients including the Indian Ministry of Defense. Timblo Drydocks, is concentrating on catering to various clients in the off shore industry and on building container vessels, tankers and multipurpose vessels.
