An anecdote is always presented as based in a real incident involving actual persons, whether famous or not, usually in an identifiable place. Fable is a literary genre. A fable is a succinct fictional story, in prose or verse, that features animals, mythical creatures, plants, inanimate objects or forces of nature which are anthropomorphized , and that illustrates or leads to an interpretation of a moral lesson ,which may at the end be added explicitly in a pithy maxim.

It may also refer to the genre which includes such works, or to language, behavior, or events which resemble them. Tragedy is a form of drama based on human suffering that invokes in its audience an accompanyingcatharsis or pleasure in the viewing. Comedy in the contemporary meaning of the term, is any discourse or work generally intended to be humorousor to amuse by inducing laughter, especially in theatre, television, film and stand-up comedy. An essay is a piece of writing which is often written from an author's personal point of view. Essays can consist of a number of elements, including:literary criticism, political manifestos, learned arguments, observations of daily life, recollections, and reflections of the author. News is the communication of selected information on current events which is presented by print, broadcast, Internet, or word of mouth to a third-party or mass audience.
